Staff Product Manager, Lodging - Search & Shop

Ideal candidates are based in San Francisco or New York, and are willing to work a hybrid 3 days a week schedule in office.

We’re looking for a passionate product manager to drive transformation and deliver seamless shopping and booking experiences that make a measurable impact on our customers and business.

What you'll do:

Define and Drive Product Strategy

• Shape a compelling product vision for the hotel booking journey—from search to checkout.
• Balance user-centric design with business impact, applying modern product techniques and leveraging emerging technologies like AI for personalized recommendations.

Collaborate Across Functions

• Work closely with engineers, designers, data teams, and business stakeholders to define and deliver features that improve discovery, selection, and booking.
• Foster inclusive team discussions and champion shared goals across multiple workstreams.

Deliver Impactful Solutions

• Lead the design and rollout of scalable features—from booking flows to payment options—that drive conversion, increase trust, and elevate the end-to-end experience.

Use Data to Inform Decisions

• Combine customer research, behavioral insights, and experimentation to guide decision-making and optimize outcomes.
• Run experiments and continuously test and iterate to ensure our solutions are delivering maximum value.

Communicate with Clarity

• Translate complex ideas into clear, actionable plans.
• Keep teams and stakeholders aligned by telling compelling stories around the “why” behind product priorities and trade-offs.

What You Bring to Engine:

• Experience: 5+ years in product management, ideally with experience in travel tech, marketplaces, or booking platforms—particularly within hotels or accommodations.
• Collaboration: Strong track record of cross-functional collaboration and ability to influence across teams and functions.
• User-Centered Thinking: Deep empathy for users, with a solid understanding of UX principles and the ability to translate customer needs into intuitive solutions.
• Analytical Approach: Experience using data, experimentation, and A/B testing to validate hypotheses and inform roadmap decisions.

Cash compensation: The base salary range for this role is $210,000 to $250,000. Final compensation packages are determined by various factors, including prior experience and expertise. This role is also eligible to receive equity compensation.
