Why Mozilla?

Mozilla Corporation is the non-profit-backed technology company that has shaped the internet for the better over the last 25 years. We make pioneering brands like Firefox, the privacy-minded web browser. Now, with more than 225 million people around the world using our products each month, we’re shaping the next 25 years of technology and helping to reclaim an internet built for people, not companies. Our work focuses on diverse areas including AI, social media, security and more. And we’re doing this while never losing our focus on our core mission – to make the internet better for people.

The Mozilla Corporation is wholly owned by the non-profit 501(c) Mozilla Foundation. This means we aren’t beholden to any shareholders — only to our mission. Along with thousands of volunteer contributors and collaborators all over the world, Mozillians design, build and distribute open-source software that enables people to enjoy the internet on their terms.

About this team and role:

We are seeking an outstanding Product Manager to lead Mozilla accounts into a value-driven growth engine for Firefox. You’ll need strong technical instincts to understand and navigate the complexities of authentication and identity systems and user experiences —while prioritizing features that drive user value and platform innovation.

What you’ll do:

  • Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, consistently ensuring alignment with Mozilla’s goals, mission, and values.
  • Seek out and leverage data and user insights and market research to drive impact through experimentation, identify growth levers, and make informed product decisions.
  • Translate vision into clear, prioritized requirements; partner closely with engineering, UX, and cross-functional teams to maintain a focused, outcome-driven backlog.
  • Support internal customers in scaling and growing by investing in new platform capabilities and addressing tech debt.
  • Define and monitor key success metrics to measure product performance and course-correct as needed.
  • Communicate product direction and progress clearly to executives and stakeholders to ensure alignment and visibility across the org.

What you’ll bring:

  • 4+ years of experience as a product manager with experience on user-facing products and back-end services, serving both internal and external customers.
  • Strong technical acumen and understanding of software architecture.
  • Ability to grasp and navigate complexity, breaking down complex problems, aligning teams around clear priorities.
  • Proven experience collaborating with UX and Engineering throughout the product lifecycle. Able to effectively and collaboratively engage with cross functional partners and leadership.
  • A data-driven approach to identifying issues and opportunities, making decisions, setting goals, and tracking progress. Hands-on experience using data visualizations tools such as SQL, Looker, or Excel.
  • Curiosity and adaptability, comfortable dealing with ambiguity and operating with minimal direction, and a desire to learn and develop.
  • Bonus: Hands-on experience in running experiments, analyzing outcomes, and iterative product development.
  • Commitment to our values:
    • Welcoming differences
    • Being relationship-minded
    • Practicing responsible participation
    • Having grit

What you’ll get:

  • Generous performance-based bonus plans to all eligible employees - we share in our success as one team
  • Rich medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Generous retirement contributions with 100% immediate vesting (regardless of whether you contribute)
  • Quarterly all-company wellness days where everyone takes a pause together
  • Country specific holidays plus a day off for your birthday
  • One-time home office stipend
  • Annual professional development budget
  • Quarterly well-being stipend
  • Considerable paid parental leave
  • Employee referral bonus program
  • Other benefits (life/AD&D, disability, EAP, etc. - varies by country)

Safe Remote Job Search Tips

Verify Employer Thoroughly

Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.

Never Pay to Get a Job

Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.

Safeguard Your Personal Information

Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.

Scrutinize Communication & Interviews

Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.

Beware of Unrealistic Offers

If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.

Insist on a Formal Contract

Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
