About the Role

We are seeking a Stock Administration Manager to join our rapidly growing team who will assist with scaling Motive Technologies’s stock administration function as the Company continues to grow globally. This role will report into the Head of Stock Administration. You will work closely with finance and human resources teams globally to advise and answer questions from directors, shareholders, officers and employees on equity plans and procedures, and equity compliance matters.

What You’ll Do

  • Utilize your stock administration expertise to administer the company's many equity programs for all employees in the U.S. and globally.
  • Work closely with the company's transfer agent, outside broker service providers, and internal Legal, Finance, Payroll, People, Tax, and other teams, as necessary.
  • Provide a superior level of customer service to employees, management, and others.
  • Support employee understanding of equity awards and Company programs and policies and conduct office hours for new and existing employees.
  • Assist efforts to grow and scale the stock administration function, including but not limited to enhancing existing manual processes, automating processes, and helping to evaluate service providers.
  • Lead efforts to automate routine work streams and manual processes to enable efficient, accurate and timely processing of equity award data.
  • Maintain company's equity data online tools and resources.
  • Prepare custom reports using Google sheets and perform complex reconciliations to review accuracy of equity and transaction data.
  • Maintain supporting workbooks for internal/external SOX auditors and respond accurately, thoroughly, and timely to auditor requests for data.
  • Prepare and file accurate and timely Section 16 Forms 3, 4 and 5.
  • Assist with preparation of stock-related sections of 10Qs, 10Ks and Proxy Statements.
  • Assist legal team with review of newly proposed 10b5-1 trading plans and process trades manually from trading plan brokers.
  • Assist with processes for mobile employees.
  • Apply complex mobility tax calculations.
  • Perform other duties and ad hoc projects and reporting as requested.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 7 years in global equity program administration, finance, or technical accounting.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Certified Equity Professional (CEP) Level 3 preferred.
  • Proven knowledge of global equity programs, various equity award types, and high transaction volumes.
  • Direct experience with Carta or Morgan Stanley EEO is essential.
  • Familiarity with Workday, ADP, and other accounting tools.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, adaptable for all levels of employees and partners.
  • Strong analytical abilities, Google Sheet and/or Excel proficiency, and excellent project management skills with effective prioritization.
  • Highly motivated, reliable, flexible, deadline-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks independently with keen attention to detail.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving, and demanding environment while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Pay Transparency
Your compensation may be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications. For certain roles, total compensation may include restricted stock units. The compensation range for this position will depend on where you reside. For this role, the compensation range is:

United States
$87,200$125,000 USD
