Job Description
About the Role
We’re hiring an experienced TA Expert & Community Lead in EMEA to help scale one of our most successful GTM experiments: a high-touch, customer-led approach to regional growth. This role builds on the incredible workWillem has piloted—combining thoughtfully curated events, product education, and early-stage sales activation—to create meaningful impact across the funnel.
You’ll replicate and then optimize this model in core cities across EMEA, taking ownership of the region’s community-led growth efforts. This means everything from running customer breakfasts and curated dinners, to leading tactical enablement sessions and bi-weekly product demos. We’re looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of education, advocacy, and hospitality, and who’s excited to help Ashby scale sustainably through trust and excellence.
This role is perfect for someone who has worked with Ashby All-in-One, has a solid background in talent acquisition, and is passionate about tools, processes, and community building. You’ll collaborate with marketing, customer success, and sales, but will be trusted to lead and grow your region independently.
What You’ll Do
📍 Lead EMEA Field Events (50% of your time)
Run 2–3 day ‘city sprints’ across target EMEA markets. Each sprint includes:
Customer learning breakfasts featuring a local customer case study and CS support
Evening dinners for customers and prospects, curated by persona and theme
Partner cocktail events or roundtables co-hosted with local ecosystem players like VC’s and local Talent Communities
Build and nurture relationships with TA leaders in the region.
Own event operations end-to-end—from venue selection and invites to post-event recaps and feedback loops.
Continually driving improvement and reimagining how we can show up in a very meaningful way for our customers.
🎓 Drive Customer Education (20% of your time)
Design and lead live sessions that help customers activate key Ashby features and keep customers ahead on key TA trends and topics.
Partner with the CS and Product Marketing teams on theAshby Hidden Gems program.
Develop and distribute product tips, dashboards, and internal comms templates to increase customer sophistication.
📺 Host Bi-Weekly Product Demos (10% of your time)
Run open demos for curious prospects who aren’t yet in the sales funnel.
Tailor sessions by audience (recruiters, founders, RevOps, etc.) and showcase how Ashby drives better hiring.
Actively promote the product demos to get as much interest as possible from potential Ashby customers.
Capture themes and questions to inform demand gen and product strategy.
📈 Expand EMEA Marketing Strategy (15% of your time)
Carve out areas you’re excited to own—whether that’s local partnerships, a newsletter for EMEA TA leaders, or scalable plays for customer advocacy.
Help Ashby deepen its brand and trust in the region by showing up consistently and thoughtfully.
Building relationships with up and coming communities, vendors, and TA focused businesses.
Today we’re mostly active in London, Berlin and Amsterdam but we’re ready to take our signature events strategy to all major European Hubs. You’d be working on making that a reality.
About You
We think the ideal person for this role will have experience and skills that look something like this:
You’ve been anAshby power user or at least very familiar with Ashby and seen its benefits first-hand—someone who knows the product and Ashby community, champions good recruiting practices, and isn’t afraid to dive into dashboards, workflows, or templates
You’ve built a reputation inside organizations as thego-to expert on TA process and tooling.
You’re astrong communicator—whether facilitating a breakfast, writing a post-event summary, or helping a customer understand how to build a dashboard.
You lovecurating and connecting people and ideas. You get energy from hosting, matchmaking, and finding smart formats to share what works
You’re excited aboutbeing on the road ~1x/month and tapping into your existing network (and growing it!) in the TA space
You’re entrepreneurial and experimental in nature. You’re not looking for rigid playbooks; you want room to try new formats and evolve what ‘great’ looks like. You come prepared withAI tools / automations that help us execute faster while maintaining quality.
You believe inunreasonable hospitality—the idea that going above and beyond for a customer doesn’t just build goodwill, it builds momentum.
This Role Probably Isn’t Right If…
You’re not excited about hosting or don’t enjoy the details of curating small, thoughtful gatherings.
You don’t enjoy travelling and building new connections while you are at it.
You’ve never used Ashby or aren’t familiar with modern TA systems and practices.
You prefer working from a very established playbook and are uncomfortable with ambiguity or iteration.
You only have an ‘events background’. For this founding role, we need folks with deep knowledge of the TA ecosystem and a proven network in major city hubs like London, Berlin, Dublin, Stockholm, Barcelona, Paris, Munich, and Amsterdam.

Verify Employer Thoroughly
Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.
Never Pay to Get a Job
Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.
Safeguard Your Personal Information
Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.
Scrutinize Communication & Interviews
Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.
Beware of Unrealistic Offers
If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.
Insist on a Formal Contract
Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
