At dbt Labs, we’re building a high performing Talent Acquisition function, and we're looking for an experienced Talent Operations Manager to lead the charge in optimsing our recruiting systems, tools, data, and processes. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast paced, scaling environment and is excited to build infrastructure that enables a world class recruiting team.
Key Responsibilities
Recruiting Tools & Systems
- Own and manage our ATS (Greenhouse), ensuring optimal configuration, adoption, and functionality
- Evaluate, implement, and manage sourcing and recruiting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Metaview, scheduling software)
- Lead regular audits of tools and tech stack; identify opportunities to reduce inefficiencies and improve user experience.
Data, Reporting & Analytics
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports to track recruiting KPIs (time to fill, source of hire, diversity metrics, etc.)
- Provide data driven insights for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and recruiting strategy sessions
Process Optimisation
- Standardise processes across teams while enabling flexibility for unique role requirements
- Continuously improve candidate experience by identifying and removing friction in the hiring journey.
Enablement & Compliance
- Train recruiters, coordinators, and hiring managers on tools, processes, and best practice
- Ensure compliance with global hiring policies, including data privacy (e.g., GDPR) and DEI guidelines
Strategic Support
- Act as a thought partner to TA leadership on headcount planning, hiring forecasts, and budget alignment
- Partner with DEI leaders to drive equitable and inclusive hiring practices across the funnel.
- Support employee referral programs and internal mobility processes.
What You’ll Bring
- 4+ years in Talent Operations, Recruiting Operations, or People Ops — preferably in tech or high-growth environments
- Proven experience managing ATS systems (Greenhouse strongly preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with experience building reports and visual dashboards
- Comfortable evaluating new tools and managing vendor relationships
- Deep understanding of recruiting workflows and candidate lifecycle
- Passion for operational excellence, process design, and team enablement
- Collaborative and communicative, with a bias for action and ownership.
Over and Above
- Experience supporting international recruiting
- Familiarity with tools like Gem, Teamable, GoodTime, or similar
- Project management or process improvement certifications.
