Pinterest Engineering and Product org is looking for a Technical Program Manager to assist with creation and maintenance of its strategic headcount resourcing program. This individual will work on maintaining and improving ongoing reports, delivering automation and assisting with compiling and presenting key insights from their program to leadership.
What you’ll do:
- Maintain, upgrade and communicate a suite of reports that tracks all Engineering and Product headcount.
- Be the Subject Matter Expert for all headcount related requests.
- Lead the program for delivering automation for all headcount reports and processes.
- Be the POC for HR, Finance and Recruiting requests related to active headcount.
- Maintain critical response time and high customer feedback scores.
- Assist in building out advanced metrics for leadership forums and ongoing reporting.
- Assist with building out advanced “proof of concept’ tools for the Org Insight team.
- Assist in planning and budgeting programs.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven track record of creating and implementing automation, reporting and/or metrics programs for a large organization.
- B.S degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
- High technical bar for data management, reporting and maintenance; including:
- Intermediate data visualization tools, with a strong preference for Tableau
- Intermediate experience with creating and maintaining large Google Sheets, with a proven ability to easily compile and maintain multi-sheet workbooks.
- Basic competency with SQL queries, with a preference for Snowflake experience.
- Basic JAVA script or google app development experience, or a desire to quickly learn both.
- Proven ability to identify and communicate analysis and insights from data sources.
- High writing communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting complex data analysis to high level stakeholders
- Basic knowledge of headcount management process including recruiting, people systems and financials.

- We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
- This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times/quarter and therefore can be situated anywhere in the country.
