Job Description
Found is transforming personalized weight care with an evidence-based platform that combines modern medicine, behavior change support, personalized coaching, and a supportive community. Since launching in 2019, Found has served over 250,000 patients across the U.S., making high-quality, affordable treatment more accessible while reducing healthcare costs for consumers, employers, and payors. Backed by $130M+ from top investors including Atomic, GV, WestCap, IVP, TCG, and Define Ventures, Found is redefining how personalized weight care is delivered at scale.
Pippen Health, the virtual medicine practice affiliated with Found, is looking for providers (NPs, MDs, & DOs) to join their team of clinicians dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centric care. Found’s platform integrates leading weight management clinical practice with innovative technology to provide holistic support for patients during their health journeys. Led by Dr. Rekha Kumar, a leader in obesity medicine, Found's program brings a more personalized, supportive, and hands-on approach to obesity care than other telemedicine companies.
As a clinician on the Found platform, you’ll benefit from tools such as Found’s easy-to-use, proprietary EMR that allows you to connect meaningfully with patients while maintaining a flexible work schedule that meets your needs. As a provider at one of the largest obesity medicine practices in the US, you will be expanding access to high-quality, cost-efficient weight management care for patients nationwide.
You will get to be an early part of Found’s newest offering, expanding care to members with insurance primarily through synchronous consultations. Consultations include health assessments, lab screenings, management of diagnoses related to obesity, prescribing medication if indicated, documentation, & follow-up care for patients. Alongside our member support team and RNs, you will provide ongoing clinical support to patients as they navigate their weight care journey, including managing medication side effects, changing treatment plans based on changes in patient’s health, weight loss progress, &/or insurance coverage. Best efforts are made to maintain continuity of care between patient & clinician to develop long-term relationships.
Providers at Found are passionate about increasing access, improving health outcomes, and delivering an excellent experience to patients at the cutting edge of weight management and obesity care. The ideal candidate would be a technologically-savvy, life-long learner who has independent practice experience in obesity medicine and telemedicine (synchronous and asynchronous).
Qualifications:
- MD, DO, or NP degree
- Board certified and licensed in multiple states, including some combination of: CA, TX, FL, NY, PA, NC, OH, GA, VA or IL.
- At least 2 years of independent practice experience
- Previous telemedicine experience
- Strong and empathetic oral and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt and remain agile, while helping to improve our ability to deliver care
- Obesity medicine certification preferred

Verify Employer Thoroughly
Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.
Never Pay to Get a Job
Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.
Safeguard Your Personal Information
Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.
Scrutinize Communication & Interviews
Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.
Beware of Unrealistic Offers
If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.
Insist on a Formal Contract
Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
