As a Senior Software Test Engineer, you will demonstrate expert-level skills in test automation tools and strategies as well as a deep and broad understanding of the process of building and deploying software in both cloud and desktop environments. You will use your skills to drive test strategy throughout the testing organization.
How your day-to-day work will look like:
- Recommend improvements to testing processes, technology, and interfaces that improve the effectiveness of testing teams and reduce technical debt.
- Lead out in quality-related work, training, and mentoring of team members.
- Evaluate acceptance criteria, determine test approach, write & execute both manual and automated tests as necessary.
- Own the testing automation strategy, test data management strategy, and test automation for assigned work.
- Maintain existing test automation frameworks for all existing automated applications.
- Write, debug, and execute code used in both API and UI automated testing efforts.
- Define, implement, and manage processes and “best practices” regarding automated testing.
- Establish processes to continually review and select manual test cases for automation test suites.
- Provide metrics on business processes and code coverage for automated test suites.
- Present test results to stakeholders.
This would make you the ideal candidate:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Expertise in testing both isolated and integrated microservices.
- Expertise in all types of testing practices and methodologies.
- Expertise in automated testing frameworks, including Selenium and Postman.
- Expertise in coding in C#.
- Expertise working in microservices architecture and testing RESTful API’s.
- Expertise in building and executing load and performance test scenarios.
- Expertise with software test tools and processes.
- Expertise in building testing frameworks for cloud-based consumer-facing applications and databases.
- Working knowledge of agile development methodologies.
- Experience working with AWS.
- Experience working with Search technology testing.
- Advanced English Level is required for this role as you will work with US clients. Effective communication in English is essential to deliver the best solutions to our clients and expand your horizons.
