Why This Role is Exciting
In this dynamic UX Architect role, you will provide strategic direction across efforts and detailed structural guidance within initiatives to help internal teams deliver clear, connected platform experiences. You will also have the opportunity to help shape AuditBoard’s design processes and contribute to our design system as we scale. As a member of UX leadership, you will serve as a mentor to other designers and inspire a culture of innovation, growth, and development. Our ideal candidate is someone who loves to collaborate with others, but can also independently take an idea from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities
Define strategies that unify business priorities, customer needs, and technical capabilities
Drive creation of vision stories to capture opportunities from an experience lens
Contribute to thematic roadmap planning to deliver on strategic goals
Lead and facilitate working sessions to drive clarity and alignment among stakeholders
Define and clarify concepts underlying platform experiences
Identify and provide frameworks, models, and other structural guidance in close partnership with initiative teams
Identify opportunities to align platform experience patterns
Help shape the UX Architecture role at AuditBoard
Champion systems approaches across product teams
Mentor other designers on systems approaches
Attributes for a Successful Candidate
12+ years in user experience or related fields
Demonstrated excellence in user experience design
Excellent leadership, communication and collaboration skills
Experience working with enterprise or data-intensive applications in complex domains
Experience delivering high-impact design strategies
High-level storytelling to gain multi-discipline alignment and leadership support
Experience clarifying complex concepts in frameworks, diagrams, or related
Ability to zoom in to explore details and zoom out to capture underlying structures and relationships
Nice to Have
Advanced degree in user experience, HCI, or related field
Experience working on solutions involving integrations, automations, and/or AI
Experience driving alignment across product, sales, marketing, and other internal teams
Knowledge of GRC industry
