About the job

This position will lead the product strategy, roadmap, product management, and data science team for Twilio’s Traffic Intelligence.

The Traffic Intelligence team creates tools and services for the prevention of fraud and abuse, toolkits for ensuring businesses remain compliant with communications, as well as capabilities for optimizing traffic and improving engagement.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Define the product vision and strategy for Twilio's Traffic Intelligence team in collaboration with all partners.
  • Drive a continuous discover/build/ship/learn cycle for the Traffic Intelligence Product team with a clear short and long term roadmap that delivers on the vision and continuously unlocks value for stakeholders.
  • Be a model in working backwards from the customer. The customer's need is at the center of what we build.
  • Build and develop an impactful PM team that wears the customers' shoes and develops every individual to be a world-class product manager.
  • Build and develop an impactful data science team that works to build the right models and AI capabilities in support of Traffic Intelligence
  • Partner with engineering to build a culture of empowered product teams where all roles excel together and deliver as a single team.

*Required:

  • 15+ years of product management experience building large scale cloud services platforms.
  • Deep experience as Product leader building easy-to-use and easy-to-adopt products that are based on sophisticated, AI-powered models
  • Demonstrated expertise in building predictive AI models for large scale data problems
  • Deep understanding of data governance and safe AI practices
  • Demonstrated leadership - ability to encourage/lead/recruit/retain successful product management teams
  • Proven track record of results - establishes ambitious goals, achieves/over-achieves those goals and takes overall responsibility for overall business outcomes
  • Innovation and critical thinking - track record of driving companies through ground-breaking change with the ability to see the big-picture while also being hands-on in the details
  • Gravitas - Executive presence, strong communication skills, ability to communicate business value and product features/benefits and influence at the highest levels to drive change
  • Data-driven - outcomes oriented and a problem solver
  • Customer obsessed - passionate about the customer journey and the customer experience

Desired:

  • 10+ years people management experience
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, or equivalent experience

Location:

This role will be remote and based in the US.

Travel

We prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. For this role, approximately 25% travel is anticipated to help you connect in-person in a meaningful way.

Compensation

*Please note this role is open to candidates outside of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington D.C., and Washington State. The information below is provided for candidates hired in those locations only.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

  • Based in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont or Washington D.C., New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or California: $337,000 - $421,300
  • This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are generally eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
