Chess at Three is an international network of storytellers (chess tutors) introducing chess to children as young as three. Through the power of storytelling, Chess at Three’s award-winning curriculum has reached over 150,000 children in homes, schools, and online. Our approach not only builds successful chess players but also nurtures foundational skills in math, strategy, and sportsmanship through engaging narrative adventures.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Virtual Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support, assist in project coordination, and help ensure seamless operations across departments. This is a junior-level position, ideal for candidates with 1–3 years of experience in sales, operations, or customer service who are eager to grow and make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling & Calendar Management: Manage schedules and appointments using Google Calendar with precision and efficiency.
- Administrative Support: Perform data entry and organization in Airtable to maintain accurate records.
- Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional support via phone and email to assist our community of clients and stakeholders.
- Team Coordination: Facilitate clear and consistent communication among team members through Slack.
- Project Assistance: Help coordinate projects, track tasks, and support cross-functional initiatives.
Requirements:
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with Airtable, Google Calendar, and Slack is essential.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in administration, sales, operations, or customer service.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work remotely and coordinate effectively across time zones.
Bonus/Good to Have (Not Required):
