Job Description
VP of Enterprise & Strategic Sales
About XBOW
At XBOW, we’re redefining the future of cybersecurity by building the world's first autonomous pentester, powered by AI. Today, the gold standard for securing software systems is human pentesters, but with the rise of artificial intelligence, we’re stepping up to scale offensive security to meet the ever-growing demand.
AI is transforming the landscape of both cybersecurity and cyberattacks. While millions of people without security expertise are creating software, bad actors are using AI to launch more effective attacks. XBOW fights back with AI-driven superpowers, enabling security teams to stay one step ahead.
Backed by Sequoia Capital and Altimeter, and a team that includes the creators of GitHub Copilot and GitHub Advanced Security, XBOW is not just keeping up with the times—we’re shaping the future of cybersecurity. Our mission is simple: to defeat bad actors before they strike, using AI to revolutionize offensive security.
We’re building something that must be built, and we’re the team to do it. Join us in shaping the next frontier of autonomous security.

Collaborate closely with founders and product leaders to refine market positioning, messaging, and product roadmap based on enterprise customer feedback
Create and optimize repeatable sales motions, processes, and tools to enable sustainable growth

Act as an executive sponsor for key strategic accounts, building deep, trusted relationships with senior-level stakeholders
Partner cross-functionally to inform pricing strategies, competitive positioning, and customer success initiatives
Who You Are
Proven executive-level experience leading enterprise and strategic sales teams in SaaS, ideally within developer tools, cybersecurity, or infrastructure
Track record of scaling enterprise sales organizations, managing high-value strategic accounts, and exceeding revenue targets
Exceptional strategic thinker with the ability to execute hands-on when needed
Skilled in engaging and negotiating with senior executives (CIO, CTO, CISO, VP Engineering, etc.) with credibility, empathy, and impact
Thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments; adept at building playbooks and frameworks, not just following them
Excellent communication and leadership skills; capable of mentoring and motivating high-performance teams
Comfortable navigating complex enterprise sales cycles, deal structures, and negotiations
Demonstrated ownership mindset, strategic vision, and bias for action
Bonus if you have:
Deep experience selling into engineering, DevOps, cybersecurity, or compliance-focused buyers
Familiarity with compliance or risk frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.)
Previous experience as an early-stage or founding sales executive

Safe Remote Job Search Tips
Verify Employer Thoroughly
Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.
Never Pay to Get a Job
Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.
Safeguard Your Personal Information
Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.
Scrutinize Communication & Interviews
Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.
Beware of Unrealistic Offers
If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.
Insist on a Formal Contract
Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
