The Role
The Vice President of One Pass Solutions Payer Sales will be responsible for driving both Medicare and commercial fitness benefit sales within the payer market. This role encompasses the development of strategic sales initiatives aimed at expanding our Medicare and Commercial fitness benefit market presence and fostering robust relationships with key stakeholders. This executive position requires an individual with a comprehensive understanding of the supplemental healthcare landscape, particularly in relation to Medicare and Commercial lines of business. The candidate must possess the acumen to navigate complex market dynamics and advance our product offerings accordingly.
Key responsibilities include formulating and executing sales strategies, identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, and representing our organization in high-level negotiations. The Vice President of Payer Sales will also be and individual contributor initially and tasked in the future with mentoring and leading a team of sales professionals, ensuring alignment with company goals and driving performance excellence.
Furthermore, this role demands someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates will exhibit exceptional communication skills, strategic thinking, and a proven track record of achieving measurable sales outcomes particularly within selling supplemental programs to health plans. Extensive experience in healthcare sales, particularly within the payer market, is essential. Key Responsibilities
Leverage industry relationships to secure new business within Medicare and Commercial health plans.
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy targeting Medicare and commercial payers for the One Pass Solutions fitness benefit product portfolio.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, manage the sales pipeline, and lead efforts to secure new contracts
Oversee the entire sales cycle from prospecting and initial outreach to negotiations, contract execution, and post-sales relationship management
Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers within payer organizations and serve as the primary point of contact to ensure an exceptional customer experience
Represent One Pass Solutions at industry conferences and networking events
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales campaigns and strategies
Track, report, and analyze sales metrics to ensure sales goals are met and exceeded
Serve as an expert on One Pass Solutions' products, assisting partners in understanding the value of these services to their members
About You
Possess 7-10+ years of experience as an individual contributor and leader in supplemental sales within the healthcare industry
Hold a Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field
Demonstrate a proven track record of success in driving sales and revenue growth within the payer space
Have a strong understanding of the healthcare payer market and the complexities of payer decision-making
Maintain a network of existing contacts within the Medicare industry
Be willing to travel up to 30% of the time
Exhibit excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport with C-suite executives
Be self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team
Proficient in Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Office, and other relevant technologies
Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
Passionate about health and wellness
Flexibility to handle changing responsibilities
