Who We Are
Our Marketing and Communications team grows brand awareness of HopSkipDrive among key audiences in the communities in which we operate. This team owns the strategy and execution of work to grow our client base among schools and school districts, and strengthen our reputation among families, riders, policymakers, and other stakeholders leveraging earned, owned, and paid media channels. As VP of Revenue Marketing, you will report to the Chief Revenue Officer and be responsible for the strategy and execution of our marketing channels, focused on building a strong pipeline and driving increased usage among our clients.
We are seeking a seasoned B2B marketing/sales leader with significant experience in B2B, usage-based models, who has a proven track record in driving demand to generate revenue. You are confident pulling all levers necessary to drive demand and working collaboratively with cross-functional partners. Your expertise in demand generation, sales, event marketing, ABM, and paid media will help fuel the next stage of our growth.
- Drive our demand generation strategy using email marketing, field marketing, events/trade shows, and paid media, as well as outbound sales and RFP to maximize visibility, lead generation, and overall efficiency.
- Build strong partnerships with cross-functional leadership including the Revenue team, Communications team, Legal, Product, and Customer Success to ensure alignment, consistent messaging, and optimized support for external-facing activities and conversion efforts10.
- Work with revenue operations and marketing operations to ensure the utmost data hygiene, track and report on marketing effectiveness, glean insights from experiments, and continuously improve campaigns.
- Publish frequent updates, insights, and performance metrics to leadership and stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
Who You Are
As the Vice President of Revenue Marketing, you are responsible for our top-of-funnel performance, driving measurable demand and contributing to the ambitious growth and success of our company. You will lead our demand generation channels, managing a team of marketers, sales development representatives, business development, and the RFP function, bringing in new clients, fueling pipeline revenue, and driving usage amongst clients.
- 10+ years of experience leading demand generation efforts with 8+ years leading high-performing teams.
- A strong track record of driving and scaling pipeline generation in B2B environments, preferably for SaaS, usage-based, or similar models.
- Significant experience developing B2B paid media strategies, optimizing spend, and driving top-of-funnel volume.
- Successful experience developing and executing account-based marketing strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive communications that drive engagement and action rooted in company messaging.
- A metrics-driven mindset with a passion for data, testing, and optimization.
- Love for collaborative environments and ability to chart paths forward in ambiguity.

The salary range for this role in Los Angeles, CA is $195,000.00 - $260,000.00. This position is remote and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by several factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skill set, certifications, and specific work location. The total compensation package for this role also includes equity stock options.
