Job Description

About Us

InStride Health’s mission is to deliver specialty anxiety and OCD care that works for every kid, teen, young adult, and family who needs it. Through this mission, we are expanding access to insurance-based care, increasing engagement in treatment, and improving treatment outcomes. We are doing this by combining research-backed clinical care and innovative technology to eliminate the major problems with care today: difficulty finding providers, months of waiting to be seen, arduous onboarding processes, and inconsistent use of evidence-based therapies and outcomes tracking. Our vision is to become the nation’s most trusted provider of pediatric anxiety and OCD care.

Team InStride Health: Our Core Values

  • Give Heart: We lead with heart, treating patients and their families the way we want our loved ones to be treated.
  • Work Smart: We find smarter ways to solve hard problems and fix the broken mental health system by leveraging technology, diversity of thought, and innovation.
  • Have Humility: We leave our egos at the door, empowering our team to collaborate, celebrate diversity, and adopt a growth mindset.
  • Embrace Community: We all belong. We are in this together, and we never worry alone. We believe in each other and recognize that every voice matters.

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic, detail-oriented, and creative Website Optimization Manager to own the ongoing development and performance of our WordPress-based website (instride.health). This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on technical and analytical experience and is pivotal in optimizing our digital front door to improve patient and caregiver experience, drive conversions, and support business growth.

In this role, you will own both the strategy and day-to-day execution of website optimization efforts. You will collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, design, IT/product, clinical, and content teams to streamline digital experiences and translate user needs into actionable solutions. You will lead or partner on everything that happens on our website, from landing pages to A/B testing to larger scale initiatives around architecture. Your work will directly impact prospective patients, families, referring providers, employees, and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage all aspects of the website, from routine updates to ongoing optimization, using WordPress. Drive growth by aligning website initiatives with broader marketing goals.
  • Monitor website performance using heatmaps, behavior flows, and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar) to deliver actionable insights.
  • Conduct regular site audits to improve speed, accessibility, SEO performance, and mobile responsiveness.
  • Lead website A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) initiatives to drive user engagement and application submissions.
  • Implement and maintain technical SEO, on-page SEO, and performance best practices.
  • Manage integrations with our CRM (Zoho), plugins, third-party platforms, and other digital tools.
  • Improve patient and caregiver experience by refining messaging, website application workflows, and digital onboarding experiences.
  • Partner with internal content creators to design, build, and optimize landing pages, blog content, and site templates for usability and conversion.
  • Ensure website design, content, and functionality align with brand identity, business goals, and marketing strategy.
  • Work cross-functionally with clinical, operations, and leadership teams to ensure an effective and seamless user experience.

What You Need to Succeed in the Role

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience managing and optimizing WordPress websites, including UX, CRO, SEO, analytics, and content optimization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Web Development, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with WordPress, Elementor (or similar page builders), SEO/SEM tools, and digital marketing platforms.
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI best practices, mobile-first web design, and website accessibility standards.
  • Experience with website analytics platforms such as Google Analytics (GA4), Mixpanel, Hotjar, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of HTML/CSS; familiarity with JavaScript is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in driving lead generation and conversions through website optimization and data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to clearly articulate technical and strategic concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across functions, balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail, organizational strength, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Prior experience in healthcare or HIPAA-regulated environments is a strong plus, but not required.

The expected annual salary for this role is between $115,000-$130,000. Actual starting salary will be determined on an individualized basis and will be based on several factors including but not limited to specific skill set, work experience, licensure, etc.

Why Join Our Team

  • Generous benefits package (401k with match, Flexible PTO, paid holidays, 4 week paid sabbatical, 12 week paid parental leave, health benefits starting on your first day, and more)
  • Opportunity to join a mission-driven company that is changing the landscape of pediatric mental health treatment
  • Chance to make a far-reaching impact by helping children and families access desperately-needed, evidence-based care
  • Opportunity to work with talented and experienced team members who have devoted their lives to solving this problem
  • Fully virtual: work from the comfort of your home with periodic in-person retreats

Commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging (DEIB)

We want to make our clinical services available for everyone, no matter where you come from, what you look like, or how you identify. To achieve this, we recognize we must continually make progress in building a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive team. Through these efforts, we support two primary objectives at InStride Health:

  1. Providing high quality patient care to families. We are in a privileged position to support families during a vulnerable time in their lives. We approach all families and each other with compassion and are most effective as a diverse team where all individuals feel valued, respected, and accepted.
  2. Building a mission-driven business that lasts. Specifically, we believe our commitment to a supportive culture improves innovation, decision-making, and efficiency.

Safe Remote Job Search Tips

Verify Employer Thoroughly

Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.

Never Pay to Get a Job

Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.

Safeguard Your Personal Information

Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.

Scrutinize Communication & Interviews

Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.

Beware of Unrealistic Offers

If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.

Insist on a Formal Contract

Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
