The Marketing Websites & MarTech Team is a cross-functional group managing multiple web properties, including www.mozilla.org. We deliver high-quality digital experiences that align with Mozilla’s mission and business goals, collaborating with internal collaborators and external partners to maintain secure, accessible, and scalable web platforms.

About the Role

As a Technical Program Manager, Websites & MarTech, you will oversee website operations, optimize workflows, and manage vendor and agency relationships. You’ll play a critical role in coordinating with internal teams and external partners, ensuring smooth operations and delivering impactful web and MarTech initiatives. This role blends technical knowledge, program management, and agency oversight.

In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for website operations and workflow management, ensuring projects and updates are efficiently driven.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and contractors, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to timelines.
  • Optimize website development and content processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Partner with internal teams (engineering, design, marketing, content, and MarTech) to align priorities, coordinate work, and streamline execution.
  • Collaborate with engineering, data, and MarTech teams to define technical solutions, integrations, and platform improvements.
  • Identify and mitigate cross-team risks, blockers, and dependencies to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Track and report on project progress, risks, and performance metrics to ensure clarity and accountability.
  • Maintain project tools and systems (Asana, Jira, Google Workspace) to keep workflows organized.
  • Develop and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) for website management, including QA, deployments, and updates.
  • Assist in budget planning and resource allocation for outsourced work and vendor engagements.

Your Professional Profile

  • Experience working with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
  • Experience writing and managing the RFP process with agencies, ensuring alignment with business needs and budget.
  • 4+ years of experience in website operations, program management, or a related role.
  • Solid understanding of website development processes, content management systems, and digital best practices.
  • Strong technical understanding of website development processes and MarTech ecosystems.
  • Experience managing external agencies, vendors, and contractors.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and process optimization.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements and ensure clear communication between stakeholders and engineering teams.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Asana, Jira, Trello) and web CMS platforms.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

  • Knowledge of agile workflows and sprint-based project management.
  • Experience working closely with engineering leadership to align on technical roadmaps and priorities.
