We’re expanding our provider network and are seeking passionate, independently licensed Supervising Psychiatrist who are ready to make a difference in the lives of youth.

About the Role:

We are looking for Supervising Psychiatrist to provide collaborative supervision to psychiatric nurse practitioners (PMHNPs) in accordance with Wisconsin regulations and Daybreak's clinical model.

We are currently working with the following license types: Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology

What You’ll Do

  • Provide collaborative supervision to psychiatric nurse practitioners (PMHNPs) in accordance with Wisconsin regulations and Daybreak's clinical model.
  • Conduct monthly 1:1 meetings with each assigned provider (typically via Zoom, ~2 hours/month total).
  • Review 5 charts/month per supervisee.
  • Respond to clinical questions and prescription-related escalations during normal business hours.
  • Execute the responsibilities outlined in your collaborating physician agreement, including:
    • Tele-supervision
    • Case reviews
    • Clinical documentation consultation
  • Provide clinical guidance, mentorship, and feedback to PMHNPs.
  • Utilize EHR systems effectively to document and review care.

Qualifications

  • Wisconsin Medical License in Psychiatry (active & unrestricted)
  • Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
  • DEA Certification
  • At least 2 years of behavioral health experience, ideally working with youth
  • Prior supervisory or collaborative practice experience preferred
  • Strong EHR proficiency
  • Demonstrated commitment to youth mental health access and equity

Compensation

  • $500-$750 per individual PMHNP

  • Supervise up to 6 PMHNPs, with a maximum monthly compensation of $2,000 - $2500

  • Monthly stipend issued upon completion of supervision and documentation requirements
