We are seeking an experienced WordPress Developer to join our client's dynamic agency. This professional will be proficient in both front-end and back-end development, with a strong foundation in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, and WordPress. The developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing WordPress websites, ensuring they are secure, fully responsive, and aligned with our design and functionality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining WordPress websites
- Creating custom WordPress themes and plugins
- Customizing pages with CSS according to designs from Figma
- Ensuring websites are fully responsive across all devices
- Managing WordPress installations, including plugins, updates, and backups
- Implementing tracking scripts such as Google Tag Manager and GA4
- Debugging and troubleshooting WordPress issues
- Collaborating with design and project management teams
- Staying current with industry best practices and technologies
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a WordPress developer
- 2+ years of experience with PHP in the WordPress environment
- 2+ years of experience with WordPress database specifics
- Proficiency in WordPress Hooks, Shortcodes, Custom Post Types, and Custom Fields (ACF)
- Strong knowledge of front-end languages including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Experience with WordPress Page Builders (Beaver Builder, Elementor, Divi, Avada)
- Experience with plugins such as Gravity Forms, Yoast, WooCommerce, and Query Monitor
- Skills in making websites fully responsive
- Experience with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug
- Basic WordPress troubleshooting abilities
- Understanding of website architecture and aesthetics
- B2 or better English level
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Commitment to continuous professional development
