About the project
As a Microsoft Fabric Architect, you will be the principal authority for designing and leading the implementation of enterprise-scale data solutions for our US-based clients. You will be responsible for creating the strategic vision and technical blueprint for modern data platforms using Microsoft Fabric.
How your day-to-day work will look like
✅ Lead the architectural design of end-to-end data solutions on Microsoft Fabric, from data ingestion and storage to analytics and visualization.
✅ Define and implement comprehensive data governance frameworks, covering data quality, data lineage, data cataloging, security, and access control policies.
✅ Conduct capacity planning and F-SKU estimation for Microsoft Fabric environments to ensure performance and cost-efficiency.
✅ Develop comprehensive roadmaps and strategic plans for data platform implementation, modernization, and migration projects.
✅ Serve as the primary technical liaison for clients, articulating complex architectural concepts to senior stakeholders, business users, and technical teams.
✅ Provide hands-on technical leadership and support to engineering teams, including performance tuning, query optimization, and implementing complex proof-of-concepts.
✅ Establish and enforce best practices for data engineering, data management, and data governance within the Fabric ecosystem.
✅ Ensure all solutions comply with data privacy regulations and industry standards.
This would make you the ideal candidate
✨ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
✨ 6+ Years of experience working in data architecture, with a significant focus on cloud-based data platforms.
✨ 5+ Years of experience defining and implementing enterprise data governance and security frameworks within Azure.
✨ 5+ Years of experience architecting and designing data warehouse environments (e.g., Star Schema, Data Vault) and/or data lakehouse solutions.
✨ 5+ Years of experience working with Azure data services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks.
✨ 2+ Years of experience planning and executing complex data migrations from on-premise systems (like SQL Server, Teradata) or other clouds to Azure.
✨ 1+ Years of experience designing and leading the implementation of a medium or large-scale enterprise data solution on Microsoft Fabric in a production environment.
✨ Microsoft Certification DP-700 – Designing and Implementing an Enterprise-Scale Data Analytics Solution Using Microsoft Fabric.
✨ Demonstrable experience in Microsoft Fabric capacity planning, SKU estimation, and cost optimization.
✨ Experience designing and implementing data update strategies, including incremental loading patterns and handling of slowly changing dimensions (SCDs).
✨ Experience designing data integration solutions using REST APIs, OData, and connecting with data sources like Microsoft Dataverse.
✨ Proven ability to perform hands-on implementation and optimization using SQL, PySpark, and/or Power BI DAX to resolve critical issues or validate architectural patterns.
✨ Experience architecting real-time data solutions using Azure Stream Analytics, Event Hubs, and/or Fabric Real-Time Analytics.
✨ Experience designing CI/CD and DevOps strategies for data platform deployments using Azure DevOps.
✨ Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305).
✨ Advanced English Level is required for this role as you will work with US clients. Effective communication in English is essential to deliver the best solutions to our clients and expand your horizons.
