Finn Partners is looking for an Account Executive to join our Seattle team. Our team is one of the best in the industry. The Account Executive will be responsible for developing and executing creative, integrated programs that utilize media relations, influencer marketing, and social media tactics and more to meet and exceed client goals. You will create a superior client focus that anticipates, executes and expands marketing communications solutions.
Primary job responsibilities will be to:
- Write and distribute materials including pitch letters, news releases, backgrounders, fact sheets, bios, newsletters, prepared remarks and program elements
- Develop pitches and work with targeted media on story development
- Handle media requests
- Research and monitor client’s business and industry to maintain a current knowledge base.
- Create and maintain media lists
- Assist with administrative tasks such as preparation and distribution of publications, preparation of meeting agendas and drafting meeting notes/reports
- Monitor media to report coverage that affects the clients’ business
- Handle research of the clients’ business and industry to maintain a current knowledge base
- Assist in research and preparation for new business pitches
- Assist in account administration duties such as activity reports
- Proactively develop relationships with external audiences (media, third party constituencies, etc.) to convey a client’s message
- Assist in research and preparation for new business pitches
Minimum Requirements:
- 1-2 years of communications experience. Agency experience preferred
- A self-starter who takes initiative; is an independent thinker and excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience overseeing multiple client accounts or similar job functions
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- A BA/BS from a four-year accredited university preferred or relevant comparable experience
Anticipated Salary: $64,500 to $69,500. Commensurate with experience and depending upon workplace
