We are seeking an experienced Billing Specialist to join our finance department.
Your Impact
You will ensure timely and accurate billing, manage subscription lifecycles, lead proactive collection activities, and support monthly revenue recognition.
Your work will directly influence cash flow, customer satisfaction, and financial reporting accuracy.
- Oversee subscription billing using Chargebee, Stripe, Avalara and QuickBooks
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and proactively manage past-due balances
- Maintain accuracy in invoicing, tax application, credit notes, and renewals
- Identify and troubleshoot subscription plan or billing errors and liaise with customers to resolve disputes
- Support month-end close and revenue recognition activities and customer accounts reconciliation
- Collaborate with Customer Success on price changes, credits, refunds, and cancellations
- Monitor MRR, churn, and deferred revenue reports in collaboration with Finance
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in collection or accounting in SaaS startups
- 1+ year experience with Chargebee
- Excellent English communication skills, both orally and in writing
- Detail-oriented, with strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Remote work experience
