Overview:
Tellius, Inc. is looking for a strategic Business Development Manager to lead and scale our BDR operations. This role is critical in penetrating new markets and ensuring both inbound and outbound sales efforts are executed effectively. As a BDR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in coaching and mentoring the BDR team, driving growth, and achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing BDR team to generate qualified sales opportunities.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement outbound and inbound sales strategies that align with the company’s goals.
- Pipeline Building: Identify, qualify, and nurture potential leads to create a strong sales pipeline.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure smooth lead handoffs and alignment of business development efforts.
- Sales Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve business development processes to increase efficiency and impact.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance metrics and use data-driven insights to guide decision-making and strategy.
- Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities to maintain a competitive edge.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales management, in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and coach a team.
- Proven track record of building and executing successful outbound sales campaigns, including cold calling, email outreach, and social selling.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze sales data to identify trends and optimize performance.
- Adaptability to changing market conditions and company priorities.
- A self-starter with high initiative and a passion for driving results.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a SaaS or AI-driven business environment is a plus.
- Strong understanding of the target market, industry trends, and customer needs.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams.
