Business Intelligence Analyst
Your Mission:
As part of the Engine team, you’ll play a vital role in an environment where innovation meets collaboration. Here’s what you’ll take charge of:
- Data Analysis & Insight Generation: Collect, manipulate, and integrate data from various sources to uncover actionable insights, informing strategy and decision-making across the organization through rigorous quantitative analysis.
- Reporting & Visualization Excellence: Develop and maintain curated data pipelines, ELT transformations, and data tests. Create compelling dashboards, reports, and visualizations, including high-visibility materials like board decks, to monitor business performance against KPIs and support informed decision-making.
- Strategic Collaboration & Communication: Partner extensively with stakeholders across all levels, from executives to engineers, to gather reporting requirements, identify optimization opportunities, and effectively communicate complex data findings and problem-solving approaches to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- AI & Automation Contribution: Contribute to cutting-edge AI-related projects, such as analyzing AI interactions for business insights and effectiveness. Drive process improvements by building reporting mechanisms and data structures for new and emerging initiatives in automation and AI.
What You’ll Bring to Engine:
We’re looking for someone who’s ready to make an impact and grow alongside us:
- Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a similar analytical role, with a preference for candidates who have recently completed a Master's degree. Experience in an analytics role within a SaaS organization is highly valued.
- Skills: You’re a problem-solver with strong critical thinking, quantitative, and communication skills. You are adept at translating complex data into clear, actionable insights and explaining problem-solving approaches. High attention to detail and accuracy are essential. Experience with contact center reporting, customer support teams, or as a financial/business analyst is highly desirable.
- Tech-Savvy: Advanced SQL skills (CTE, subqueries, window functions). Optimized and efficient. Experience with Python for data analysis, modeling, & automation preferred. Looker, Tableau, Excel (other data visualization tools). Salesforce reporting experience (Service) huge plus
Mindset: You’re ready to roll up your sleeves, collaborate effectively with employees at all levels, and deliver results that matter in a dynamic, less structured, and fast-paced environment. You are adaptable and eager to build solutions from the ground up for new initiatives.

Compensation
Our compensation packages are based on several factors, including your experience and expertise. In addition to a competitive base salary, total compensation may include equity and/or variable pay (OTE). Your recruiter will share your complete compensation package as you move through the process.
