RevenueCat makes building, analyzing, and growing mobile subscriptions easy. We launched as part of Y Combinator's summer 2018 batch and today are handling more than $4B of in-app purchases annually across thousands of apps.

The role:
RevenueCat helps apps of all shapes and sizes make more money across mobile, the web, and a growing list of other platforms. Our success—and the rapid growth we’ve achieved—has been fuelled by amazing word of mouth, supported by high quality content that resonates with our diverse user base: from developers and product managers to marketers and data analysts.
We already have aSenior Content Marketing Manager overseeing our content strategy and data-driven initiatives. Now, we’re looking for aContent Marketing Manager to help us scale our editorial content output—especially through our App Growth Experts contributor program—and ensure the quality and consistency of everything we publish.
In this role, you’ll be a key player in our content team: editing and publishing contributor posts, helping to bring to life ideas throughout the company, and supporting the rollout of an exciting new initiative:{redacted}.
What You'll Be Responsible For
App Growth Experts contributor program
Edit and publish content from our network of App Growth Experts — industry practitioners who share deep insights into app growth and monetization.
Help manage contributor relationships, including onboarding, coordination, and editorial feedback.
Collaborate with the Senior Content Marketing Manager to maintain a high editorial bar and keep our publishing cadence on track.
Source new contributor opportunities and pitch story ideas to both internal and external collaborators.

Write or edit companion content that connects {redacted} to broader content themes.
Ensure all written outputs meet our editorial standards and SEO guidelines.
User-generated and customer content
Source, curate, and produce content featuring real-world app success stories—showcasing user insights, collaborating with Product Marketing closely
Actively encourage user-generated content within Sub Club (e.g., tips, best practices, Q&A), turning community activity into shareable pieces
Shared responsibilities
Write and publish for the RevenueCat blog, especially pieces that stem from {redacted} and Sub Club insights, user stories, or community discussions.
Coordinate with the larger Marketing team to amplify new content across social channels, newsletters, and other channels
Collaborate with Developer Advocacy, Sales, and Performance Marketing to ensure a cohesive brand experience across all user touchpoints
What Success Looks Like
Within the first month, you’ll:
Familiarize yourself with RevenueCat’s platform, our audience, and our existing content and contributor ecosystem
Set up regular syncs with theSenior Content Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams (Product, Developer Advocacy, Marketing Ops) to understand current priorities
Audit the App Growth Experts program: review past content, evaluate contributor output, and identify opportunities to streamline the publishing process
Contribute at least one blog post or newsletter issue, focusing on your unique perspective or community insight
Within the first 3 months, you’ll:
Establish an editorial workflow for contributors — ensuring quality, consistency, and predictable publishing cadence
Collaborate on planning for{redacted}
Identify and pitch content ideas tied to industry trends, app growth strategies, or insights from our contributor network
Take over the relationship with at least 3 of our existing contributors
Within the first 6 months, you’ll:
Own the end-to-end editing and publishing process for most of our App Growth Experts contributions
Maintain and optimize our contributor calendar, ensuring content mix aligns with our goals and campaigns
Support the continued rollout of{redacted}, helping ensure content is edited, search-optimized, and on-brand
Collaborate with Developer Advocacy or Product Marketing on a cross-functional content initiative (e.g., joint post, spotlight story, guide)
After 12 months, you’ll:
Be recognized as the go-to editorial lead for all externally sourced content at RevenueCat
Demonstrate measurable success in scaling the contributor program — improved cadence, reach, and quality
Play a key role in expanding content for{redacted} and other strategic education initiatives
Help evolve our long-term editorial strategy by analyzing performance data, identifying gaps, and championing new ideas
What You’ll Need to Be Successful
5+ years of experience in content marketing, journalism, or editorial roles—ideally in a B2B or developer-adjacent SaaS environment
Editorial and contributor management experience: You’ve worked with external writers, freelancers, or subject matter experts—and know how to get the best from them
Experience working directly with customers to tell their stories: You’ve interviewed users or customers and turned those conversations into clear, compelling narratives
Exceptional writing and editing skills: You can take complex, technical topics and turn them into clear, compelling stories for a range of audiences
Strong project management: You’re confident managing multiple content streams, coordinating contributors, and keeping things moving from draft to publish
Collaborative mindset: You enjoy working cross-functionally and are comfortable juggling priorities from multiple stakeholders
Comfort in remote, async environments: Proficiency with Slack, Notion, Zoom, and other tools that keep distributed teams connected
Solid SEO and content optimization skills: You understand how to write for search, structure content for discoverability, and apply SEO best practices in a non-spammy way
Strategic thinking and editorial judgment: You can spot gaps in a content strategy, connect content to business goals, and confidently make prioritization calls—even with limited inputs
Ideally, you also:
Have experience working on or aroundmobile apps—especially related to subscriptions, monetization, or app store ecosystems
Have partnered withdesigners or illustrators to bring content to life with visuals like diagrams, frameworks, or data-driven charts
Are familiar with tools likeGA4, Semrush, or Looker to guide content strategy and evaluate performance
