We are seeking a Content Project Manager (Remote, Contract) to oversee content initiatives from start to finish, ensuring alignment with client objectives and company standards. This role involves managing timelines, coordinating efforts across writers, internal content teams, content administrators, and design teams, and serving as the primary client contact for content programs. The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate content efforts with broader demand generation and advertising strategies while continuously optimizing workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.
About the Role:
- Oversee content solutions projects from inception to completion, ensuring they align with client objectives and company standards.
- Develop and manage project timelines, coordinating efforts across contributing writers, internal content teams, content administrators, and design teams.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client communications related to content solutions programs.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align content initiatives with broader demand generation and targeted advertising efforts.
- Continuously optimize workflows and processes to improve the efficiency and scalability of content program execution.
Recommended qualifications
- 1 to 3+ years of experience managing content marketing programs for agencies, media, or demand gen companies.
- Familiar with basic content creation processes, such as manuscript creation and design and layout. Previous experience dealing with writers and editors is nice to have.
- Exceptional customer relationship management skills.
- Organized and disciplined with the ability to meet and stay ahead of deadlines.
- Problem-solving skills to be able to ask the right questions and come up with creative solutions to new issues.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
- Knowledge of demand gen project management is a plus.
