Job Description
We are currently seeking Derivatives Negotiation Lawyers to work with our financial institutions client base.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and advise on ISDA Master Agreements, including Credit Support Annexes (CSAs).
- Manage and handle Master Securities Forward Transaction Agreements (MSFTAs).
- Oversee and negotiate Master Repurchase Agreements (MRAs) for repo transactions.
- Administer and advise on Securities Lending Agreements, particularly Global Master Securities Lending Agreements (GMSLAs), if applicable.
- Collaborate with financial institutions, hedge funds, and asset managers to fulfill their specific agreement needs.
- Develop and implement strategies for collateral arrangements, netting, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate and negotiate Prime Brokerage Agreements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Serve as a team player with prior experience in corporate and financial institutions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage complex terms and share with various stakeholders in a simple and effective manner.
- Ability to work closely and collaboratively with other internal departments.
- 5+ years of experience related to ISDA documentation within a law firm or in a corporate or financial institution.
- Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating ISDA Derivatives Master Agreements.
- Experience supporting trading desks in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation, Benefits & Location:
This role offers a range of competitive compensation starting at $155,000 and a highly competitive benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace that includes health benefits, 401K and more. Axiomites predominately work remotely, with the exception that some clients require on-site presence.
