We seek to ignite that passion by setting high standards, championing teamwork, and creating work-life harmony as we collectively navigate rapid growth on a global scale while striving for greater equity and opportunity – inside and outside our organization.

To flourish here, you must be prepared to set a high bar for yourself and those around you. There is always a way to contribute: Acting with autonomy, having accountability and being open to new perspectives are essential to our continued success.

Our deep curiosity to learn and our eagerness to share diverse passions with others gives us balance and injects a one-of-a-kind vibrancy into our culture.

If you are driven to solve exhilarating challenges and have a bias toward action in the face of change, you will be empowered to make a real impact here, with a sharp and passionate team at your back. If Braze sounds like a place where you can thrive, we can’t wait to meet you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

We are seeking a Design Program Manager to join our Product Program Management team to contribute to the mission of empowering Braze to build a best-in-class product through operational excellence. As a hands-on program manager, you will support the UX team that consists of Product Design, User Research, and Documentation, to improve planning and visibility, streamline team operations, evolve the design review processes, and drive cross-functional initiatives forward. Your work will enable the UX team to operate more efficiently and focus on delivering exceptional user experiences.

Keep UX Work Organized and Visible:

  • Run quarterly planning for the UX team and maintain a tracker of key design, research, and doc work deliverables and milestones
  • Track project status across design, research, and writing to ensure visibility and accountability
  • Flag capacity issues or blockers to UX leadership early

Support UX Team Operations:

  • Maintain and evolve UX team processes, templates, and documentation in a central location
  • Support workflows across the team — including intake, recruiting, and tool management
  • Keep UXR Confluence pages and research insights organized and easy to access
  • Coordinate onboarding resources, team surveys, and engagement activities

Improve Design Review and Feedback Loops:

  • Help run design reviews and ensure peer reviews and bug bashes happen before launches
  • Maintain and promote consistent use of review templates
  • Coordinate quarterly Product Experience Reviews and track follow-ups
  • Surface process gaps or challenges to improve review quality

Coordinate Cross-Team Projects and Special Initiatives:

  • Help move important cross-functional projects forward by setting up a program structure to plan who does what when, how and facilitating discussions with multiple stakeholders and keeping the teams aligned
  • Lead coordination for one-off initiatives or high-impact efforts across design, research, and writing

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have 3–5 years of experience in Design Ops and Program Management working with UX teams in B2B SaaS and understand how Product Design, Research, and Writing come together to shape user experiences
  • You’re a systems thinker who enjoys solving problems to bring order to complexity and create clarity
  • You’re detail-oriented and organized, but also pragmatic — you know when to create a new process and when to keep things lightweight
  • You’re comfortable driving projects with multiple stakeholders, facilitating alignment, and ensuring follow-through on next steps
  • You care about user experience and take pride in helping UX teams work more effectively, focus on their craft, and make an impact
  • You have a sense of urgency and a commitment to delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment

Safe Remote Job Search Tips

Verify Employer Thoroughly

Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.

Never Pay to Get a Job

Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.

Safeguard Your Personal Information

Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.

Scrutinize Communication & Interviews

Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.

Beware of Unrealistic Offers

If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.

Insist on a Formal Contract

Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
