Job Description

Are you passionate about driving revenue growth and operational excellence? Do you thrive in fast-paced environments where you can streamline sales, marketing, and customer success processes, align cross-functional teams, and turn data into strategic insights? Are you a naturally curious thinker who weaves together numbers and narratives to guide the business forward? If so, this high-growth opportunity as Director, Revenue Operations at Rockbot could be the perfect next step in both scaling our company and accelerating your own career.

As our Director, Revenue Operations, you’ll own the end-to-end revenue engine - optimizing platform and advertising sales workflows, orchestrating marketing campaigns, and ensuring customer success teams are set up for impact. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Success leaders to build data-driven processes, clear reporting frameworks, and seamless handoffs that drive efficiency and performance across the organization.

At Rockbot, we help businesses, brands, and places succeed by enabling them to deliver better customer experiences through media in real-world spaces. We are technologists, music lovers, and innovators dedicated to building cutting-edge solutions that foster stronger connections between brands and their customers - and we’re having a great time doing it.

You will Lead, Collaborate, and Drive the following areas:

  • Revenue Strategy & Alignment – Develop and implement integrated revenue operations strategies to drive growth, efficiency, and scalability across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. Ensure alignment of revenue initiatives with company objectives, go-to-market plans, and customer lifecycle stages.
  • Revenue Performance Analysis – Analyze performance across the entire revenue funnel - including lead generation, conversion rates, pipeline health, expansion, and retention. Use data to uncover opportunities, surface insights, and drive strategic decision-making across GTM teams.
  • Forecasting & Reporting – Lead forecasting and revenue tracking across new business, upsell, and retention. Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that deliver real-time insights into key metrics for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
  • Process Optimization – Evaluate and refine end-to-end revenue workflows—from lead to renewal. Identify inefficiencies, reduce friction between functions, and design scalable processes that improve speed, accuracy, and collaboration across teams.
  • GTM Enablement – Develop and support enablement programs, tools, and training for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. Equip teams with the insights, playbooks, and resources they need to succeed in their roles and hit shared revenue goals.
  • Technology Stack Management – Own the evaluation, implementation, and optimization of the full RevOps tech stack—Salesforce, Hubspot, marketing automation, customer success platforms, compensation tools, and analytics systems. Ensure all platforms are integrated, leveraged, and aligned to business needs.
  • Revenue Operations Team Leadership – Lead and develop a high-performing RevOps team responsible for GTM execution, deal operations, territory and account planning, and systems administration across revenue teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Product to drive strategic alignment and operational cohesion. Serve as the connective tissue across the revenue organization, fostering shared accountability and driving consistent execution.

You Have:

  • Extensive Experience – 5–8+ years of experience leading integrated revenue operations teams (Sales Ops, Customer Success Ops, and Marketing Ops) within a B2B SaaS or technology company. Strong track record of navigating complex, multi-product environments - especially those combining hardware and software - with an understanding of how these elements connect across the customer lifecycle. Familiarity with fragmented billing models, multi-location deployments, and franchise structures is a plus.
  • Strategic Vision - Experience developing and implementing revenue strategies and operations initiatives that drive growth, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Analytical Expertise - Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to leverage data and analytics to drive customer engagement, inform strategy, and optimize customer success programs.
  • A Hands-On, Builder Mentality - You’re as comfortable executing the work as you are setting the strategy, especially in a high-growth, resource-conscious environment.
  • Technical Proficiency - Hands-on experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, Gong, Groove, ZoomInfo, Zoom, RingCentral, and related CRM platforms. Proven ability to evaluate, implement, and manage a comprehensive sales technology stack. Bonus: experience with NetSuite.
  • Process Optimization Skills - Demonstrated experience in analyzing and refining sales processes, workflows, and systems to improve productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership - Proven ability to collaborate closely with marketing, finance, customer success, and other cross-functional teams to drive alignment, coordination, and collaboration across revenue-generating functions.
  • Team Development - Experience leading and developing a team of revenue operations specialists, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Safe Remote Job Search Tips

Verify Employer Thoroughly

Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.

Never Pay to Get a Job

Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.

Safeguard Your Personal Information

Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.

Scrutinize Communication & Interviews

Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.

Beware of Unrealistic Offers

If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.

Insist on a Formal Contract

Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
