As a passionate and experienced Engineering Manager you will lead a talented group of engineers building the infrastructure that powers clinical care across all Thirty Madison brands. - The base pay range for this position is $158,400 - $217,800 per year.**

**Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. An annual incentive plan and stock options may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.

- Lead and develop a high-performing team of engineers, ensuring they are engaged, growing, and delivering high-quality work.
- Manage the delivery of key initiatives that expand the capabilities of our clinical care and pharmacy systems.
- Work closely with Product, Design, Clinical, and Pharmacy teams to align on priorities and drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Build and evolve scalable applications and microservices using technologies like React, GraphQL, NestJS, and PostgreSQL.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship while actively contributing to architecture and solution design.
- Create a strong team culture of technical excellence, psychological safety, and continuous improvement.
- Advocate for engineering best practices, including testing, monitoring, and quality assurance.
- Participate in planning, resourcing, and prioritization discussions to help set direction for the broader Care Technology team.
- Act as a force multiplier for the team by identifying and proactively resolving blockers.
What you bring to the role
- 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams, preferably in a healthcare or similarly regulated environment.
- 7+ years of overall experience in software engineering, including full-stack development with modern web technologies.
- A track record of growing and mentoring engineers, with a strong commitment to people development and team health.
- Hands-on technical expertise with scalable systems and experience with distributed system design.
- Strong organizational skills and a history of delivering projects that involve multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to balance short-term delivery needs with long-term technical investment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially working cross-functionally.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a passion for creating exceptional patient and provider experiences.
- An understanding of the technical challenges in the healthcare industry is a plus.
