Our client is a fast-growing, agile international consulting firm headquartered in the United Kingdom. They've been focusing on optimizing processes, centricity and technology. One of the many areas they are focusing on is to design and implement next generation activities- reformulating operating models, optimising processes and installing automation.

This role is a dynamic blend of event coordination and commercial engagement. You will play a key part in executing impactful events, managing everything from logistics and marketing materials to securing participation from senior finance executives and sponsors.

Additionally, you’ll contribute to sales efforts by identifying and reaching out to potential sponsors and participants, including BPO providers and solution partners, ensuring each event is both well-organized and commercially successful.

After the events, you’ll analyze attendance data, engagement metrics, and outcomes to refine future event strategies and enhance outreach efforts.

Your tasks will include:

  • Plan and execute CFO-focused events, ensuring seamless and professional delivery.
  • Manage event logistics, materials, and stakeholder communications in partnership with internal teams.
  • Assist in sales outreach to BPO providers and solution firms to boost event participation.
  • Identify and invite CFOs and senior finance leaders to attend events.
  • Conduct outreach through email, LinkedIn, and calls to spark interest and secure attendance.
  • Collaborate with marketing to ensure consistent and timely messaging and materials.
  • Keep CRM records updated for sponsors, delegates, and outreach activities.
  • Perform post-event follow-ups and analyze attendee engagement to inform future planning.

To be a good fit for the Event Sales Manager role, you will have:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, event sales, or recruitment, with a preference for commercial sales expertise.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Skilled at engaging senior stakeholders and effectively presenting value propositions.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
  • Comfortable interacting with senior executives and delivering compelling value propositions.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and focused on achieving results.
  • Proficient in using CRM tools and managing sales pipelines.
  • Familiarity with the BPO, finance, or professional services sectors is a plus.

Reasons to join:

  • Permanent contract collaboration.
  • Work remotely with an international team that values support and collaboration.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders and renowned global brands, gaining unmatched exposure.
  • Enjoy a clear trajectory for personal growth, professional development, and rewards based on performance.
  • Thrive in a results-driven culture that emphasizes teamwork and dynamic collaboration at every step.

Safe Remote Job Search Tips

Verify Employer Thoroughly

Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.

Never Pay to Get a Job

Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.

Safeguard Your Personal Information

Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.

Scrutinize Communication & Interviews

Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.

Beware of Unrealistic Offers

If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.

Insist on a Formal Contract

Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
