Job Description
We are seeking a Finance Business Intelligence Manager to lead our finance reporting and data analytics efforts. This individual will be part of our Finance Systems and Transformation team, partnering with stakeholders across finance, IT, Data Engineering, and Sales Operations. You will help drive analytics, automation, and reporting, including building Grafana dashboards.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Design and implement BI solutions that translate business requirements into data models and visualizations using various finance data sources
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics tools that provide real-time insights to key Finance stakeholders
- Build and maintain dashboards: Revenue, Headcount, Expenses and P&L reporting etc
- Improve the maturity of the Data Analytics function within the finance team
- Extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
Tool Proficiency & Process Improvement
- Identify key opportunities for automation and work closely with the finance team to help develop the next generation of data analytics
- Drive continuous process improvement, standardization, simplification, install proper controls and reporting enhancements
- Develop documentation and training materials to drive adoption across the finance organization
- Participates and program managed the design, development, implementation and sharing of best practices within the finance and cross functional teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data science
- Proficient in SQL/MySQL and data management systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, etc.) and data visualization tools like PowerBI.
- Experience with data visualization techniques and dashboard development
- Expertise in working with various types of data, including customer, operational, and financial data
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data insights into clear business recommendations
- Experience working with large datasets and data warehousing concepts
- Experience with value stream mapping and process mapping is a plus
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge about Grafana observability
- Previous experience with Grafana visualization, or a desire to invest the time to learn
- Familiarity with ETL tools like Five trans or Workato
- Hands-on experience with Netsuite ERP, and other finance tools
In the United States, the compensation range for this role is $140,000 - $167,000 Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed in the interview process. Benefits include equity, bonus (if applicable) and other benefits listed here
