Our client is seeking a seasoned Agile QA Tester to become a valuable member of its dynamic team. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in formulating a comprehensive end-to-end test plan, executing it meticulously, and overseeing all associated activities. The primary goal is to ensure the achievement of objectives and the software solution's seamless functionality, performance, reliability, and stability. Our client provides enterprise-class managed data center services. They have around 70 datacenters servicing 29 different markets, and we can't disclose their clients – but think about any significant industry player from hyperscalers, banks, healthcare and social media platforms, and they're likely in their CRM.
The ideal candidate will possess automation expertise but should also be adept at manual testing. While the aim is to automate most tests by the year's end, the initial phase will involve a greater reliance on manual testing. They should be a critical thinker capable of swiftly addressing software challenges and proposing improvements in an agile work environment. Reporting progress to Team Leads and highlighting impediments to timely work completion is crucial. A high level of accountability and ownership for individual and team product delivery is also expected.
Responsibilities:
- Engineer and implement comprehensive testing solutions across web, mobile applications, and API services
- Architect and maintain automation frameworks utilizing Selenium with C#
- Conduct thorough API testing leveraging tools including Postman, REST-assured, and SOAP
- Perform cross-platform mobile application testing on both Android and iOS environments
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements and efficiently resolve identified issues
- Utilize tools such as Jira, TFS, or Azure DevOps for comprehensive bug management
- Shape test strategies and documentation while driving continuous QA process improvements
- Deliver robust test coverage to ensure timely release of high-quality software products
Requirements:
- Experience integrating automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
- Strong foundation in quality assurance methodologies and Agile practices
- Knowledge of cloud testing infrastructure platforms like BrowserStack and Sauce Labs
- 5+ years of software QA experience encompassing manual and automated testing
- 3+ years building automation frameworks with Selenium and C#
- 2+ years utilizing API testing tools (Postman, REST-assured, SOAP)
- 2+ years testing mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms
- 2+ years working with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
- Proficiency with bug tracking and test management systems
- Working knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms
- Superior analytical thinking, communication skills, and collaborative abilities
