Business Operations Manager – Product Growth
About the Role
The Business Operations Manager – Product Growth at Motive is a high-impact individual contributor role positioned at the intersection of Business Operations, Product-led Growth, and Go-to-Market strategy. In this capacity, you’ll lead pivotal growth experiments, oversee product rollouts, conduct data-driven investigations, and execute operational initiatives that drive measurable new Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR). Expect a dynamic, cross-functional work environment where adaptability, resourcefulness, and comfort with ambiguity are key to daily success. What You'll Do:
- Drive and manage cross-functional business growth initiatives and experiments, closely collaborating with Product, Strategic Analytics, Go-to-Market (GTM), Sales, Marketing, and Product Marketing Management teams.
- Conduct analytical investigations and data analysis to uncover insights, measure experiments, and recommend scalable solutions supporting business and product growth.
- Lead and execute end-to-end product rollouts, including scope definition, cross-team alignment, hands-on delivery, and post-launch performance measurement.
- Proactively own projects from discovery through execution with minimal oversight, turning ambiguous business problems into defined, actionable work.
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships across diverse functions to accelerate Motive’s high-growth journey.
- Translate operational actions and initiatives into measurable business value, with a direct focus on impacting new ARR.
- Regular engagement with stakeholders across Product Management, Engineering Management, Strategic Analytics, and GTM leadership.

What We're Looking For:
- 2–4 years out of college, with a strong generalist background.
- Experience in business operations, consulting, banking, or business/product operations in tech settings.
- Preferably from startup/smaller company environments, demonstrating an ability to “figure things out” in uncertain or ambiguous settings.
Your compensation may be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications. For certain roles, total compensation may include restricted stock units.
