About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Business Development Director to join our European international Institutional Business Development team. You will be involved in shaping growth initiatives and driving institutional sales across the European international region, focusing on identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
You will collaborate with regional teams to improve performance, provide tailored solutions for complex challenges, and mentor team members on effective sales strategies. The role also includes optimizing client profiles to replicate past successes, securing high-value deals, and managing risk by ensuring strong, compliant client relationships.
What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Co-develop growth strategies with the European BD Team Leader for the regional teams and propose strategies on how to achieve them.
  • Identify and drive institutional sales opportunities. Build a healthy pipeline through sourcing and converting prospective opportunities from consulting, educating, planning to advisory with institutional clients in the European region.
  • Identify competency gaps in the regional teams and propose strategies on how to bridge them.
  • Proactively propose solutions and work collaboratively with the PM team to customise and resolve complex issues, for both self and for the team.
  • Be able to provide guidance to all team members on strategizing and prioritizing sales opportunities.
  • Develop client profiling - identify previous success cases and develop them into viable, replicable efforts to repeat success and where marketing efforts should be channelled.
  • Articulate client feedback and gaps in service/product offerings to senior management teams and product related teams with suggested proposals.

What We Look For In You

  • Experienced sales professional with a proven track record (numbers) of building prospect pipelines, developing opportunities and closing deals in the European region
  • Experience in both tradefi and crypto required
  • Understands regional territory and what it takes to build a high value sales pipeline
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Extensive knowledge of products that we offer to clients
  • Demonstrate high tenacity, grit & determination and proactiveness
