Why This Role is Exciting:
The IT Architect is both strategic and tactical, delivering high-value IT applications across the company. This role is responsible for defining and influencing a technical vision and IT application portfolio that drives AuditBoard forward in pursuit of its strategic business objectives. IT Architect will be working cross-functionally with stakeholders across the business, this role is expected to perform strategic road-mapping, project discovery, and scoping in a manner that accounts for stakeholder requirements and feedback and then work with IT team resources to plan and execute IT transformation projects.
The IT Architect has the skills, experience, drive, and passion to ensure that AuditBoard has the appropriate IT applications to achieve corporate objectives. This IT leader must be motivated and successful at mentoring by building and sustaining professional relationships at all levels of an organization. The IT Architect has well-honed problem-solving and decision-making skills, is agile and adaptable, and can effectively manage change. This function can influence adoption, is results-oriented, and has a strong client service orientation.
In this role, you will:
Define and influence a technical vision and IT application portfolio that drives AuditBoard forward in pursuit of its strategic business objectives
Perform roadmap and project discovery and scoping in a manner that accounts for stakeholder requirements and feedback
Plan and implement IT transformation projects
Drive executive communication and support for the IT Applications strategy and roadmap.
Partner with key business stakeholders to deliver high-value IT solutions.
Drive operational excellence while leveraging KPI’s to measure the success/value of the IT Applications and team.
Develop and maintain relationships to ensure Enterprise Application expectations are being met and priorities are set.
Attributes for a Successful Candidate:
8+ years experience in IT, preferably at a fast-growing SaaS/technology company.
Demonstrated ability to successfully lead and develop an IT Applications Portfolio and roadmap in collaboration with overall IT strategy
A process-oriented individual, with project management skills, who has the flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic organization.
Excellent change management skills and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with SaaS-based solutions and cloud architectures supporting a remote/hybrid workforce.
Current on business applications, trends in IT and experience evaluating/implementing new innovative IT solutions.
Relevant business/industry acumen with the ability to quickly and thoroughly understand business priorities, operations, and IT enablement potential.
Candidate must have proven ability to consistently and collaboratively resolve issues, mitigate roadblocks, and meet all financial and management goals on time. Will be a self-starter who maps their own direction to succeed.
Excellent team management, coaching, and mentoring skills
Must be comfortable with ambiguity and fast change with an ability to adapt quickly and easily.
