Position Overview:
Our Lead Product Designer will drive the design vision and user experience of our telehealth platform. In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of key product initiatives and help shape the future of our patient and provider experiences. As a strategic partner to Product, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams, you’ll lead the end-to-end design process—from discovery through delivery—while mentoring designers and advocating for design excellence across the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design Leadership: Own and lead design initiatives across multiple product areas, setting a high bar for craft and user-centric thinking.
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, Marketing, Data Analysts, and other stakeholders to define the product vision, roadmap, and user experience strategy.
- User Research & Insights: Conduct or oversee qualitative and quantitative research to deeply understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points. Translate insights into intuitive, elegant product solutions.
- Experience Design: Lead the creation of user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that communicate interaction and design ideas clearly and effectively.
- Design Systems & IA: Maintain and evolve our design system and information architecture to ensure consistency, scalability, and accessibility across all platforms.
- Mentorship & Team Development: Coach junior and mid-level designers, providing feedback, fostering growth, and helping cultivate a strong design culture.
- Advocate for the User: Ensure that user needs and accessibility considerations remain central throughout the product development lifecycle.
Feedback Loops: Establish strong feedback mechanisms (internal and external) to continuously iterate and improve the product experience.
You will likely have:
- 6+ years of experience in UX or Product Design, with at least 1–2 years in a lead or principal-level role.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work across web and mobile applications.
- Proven track record designing B2C products that drive user engagement and business impact.
- Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and prototyping platforms.
- Strong understanding of UX principles, design systems, and interaction design.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive alignment across teams.
You may have:
- Experience in healthcare, digital health, or regulated industries.
- Background working in fast-paced, early-stage startups.
- Familiarity with tools like Balsamiq, Miro, or user research platforms.
- Enthusiasm for working in a remote-first environment.

Salary Range: $151,000 to $166,000 annually
This salary represents Henry Med's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation for this role at the time of posting, and Henry Meds may ultimately pay more or less than the posted salary. The final salary for this position will be determined by Henry Meds sole discretion, consistent with applicable law, and based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the employee’s work experience, skills, and qualifications for the role, as well as the needs of Henry Meds business and other operational considerations.
