What are we looking for?
We are seeking a candidate to lead the development and optimization of processes that drive reimbursement and operational efficiency for our newly formed revenue cycle department. This role will heavily work with vendor staffing partners to create processes and drive accountability. This role will also collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to implement automation and process improvements to support revenue cycle tasks.
The ideal candidate will bring significant experience in end-to-end revenue cycle management, with a focus on mental health and telehealth, and the ability to shape and execute strategies in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. What will you do?
- Develop operational processes that align with revenue cycle management best practices aiming to maximize reimbursement
- Drive accountability with technical and staffing vendors supporting eligibility, billing, and follow-up activities
- Partner with Product, Service Success, and Clinical Operations teams to build automation, optimize processes, and ensure seamless integration and use of systems, tools, and technology to support common RCM tasks
- Manage metrics and analytics programs to help the leadership and team members make data-backed business decisions
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for the workflows you create to enable the team to execute on them effectively and scalably

Can I work remotely?
Yes. We operate on PST and candidates in any time zone are welcome to apply. We ask employees to travel to our San Jose, CA office up to three times per year plus one company-wide offsite to collaborate in person and strengthen working relationships. Travel expenses are covered and reasonable accommodations are made for those under unique circumstances who cannot travel.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the healthcare space, preferably in an operations, provider vendor management, consulting, or similar style role
- Significant understanding of end to end revenue cycle process and common pain points that cause reimbursement issues from payers
- Exposure to clinicians that provide mental health and/or telehealth services
- Comfortable with ambiguity and seeks opportunities to shape operational strategy and initiatives
- Thoughtful and operationally excellent to set up processes and frameworks to achieve individual and team success
- Desires an environment that fosters growth through open feedback and high autonomy

The base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000. In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and the extensive benefits listed here (subject to eligibility requirements): Teladoc Health Benefits 2025. Total compensation is based on several factors – including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.
