About the Role:

The Strategy & Operations team at Motive is a high-impact, cross-functional group focused on shaping go-to-market strategy, launching new products, and driving growth across our core businesses. We thrive on solving complex problems across sales, marketing, and customer success, and partner closely with teams to scale efficiently. With a low-ego, highly motivated mindset, we tackle challenges like launching new channels, testing new GTM motions, and using data to inform product and business strategy

What You'll Do:

  • Build and Optimize - Design, build, and manage comprehensive sales capacity models that forecast staffing needs based on sales targets, historical performance, ramp times, attrition rates, recruiting capacity, and TAM.
  • Design and Scale - Create mission critical reports and presentations for sales leadership on capacity utilization, hiring progress, Market penetration, and Recruiting Funnel.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration - Act as the nexus between Finance, Sales, Recruiting and Enablement to ensure alignment when reporting key metrics and actual team performance
  • Set the Standard - Lead by example creating exemplary work products and never saying “that’s not my job” when presented with a problem. You have a bias for action and get stuff done

What We're Looking For:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in Sales Operations, Business Intelligence, or FP&A; Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience with sales planning/forecasting in a fast growing SaaS company strong preferred
  • Experience developing sales capacity models to forecast headcount needs using inputs such as sales targets, performance trends, ramp, attrition, recruiter bandwidth, and TAM.
  • Familiarity with Capacity planning tools such as Pigment
  • Exceptional spreadsheet / data management skills, SQL proficiency preferred
  • Intellectual curiosity supported by exceptional analytical skill and work ethic
  • Advanced communication, presentation, and organization skills
  • Experience working on cross-functional projects with various stakeholders and a demonstrated expertise in managing such projects
  • Comfortable with ambiguous environments under tight and unpredictable timelines

Pay Transparency
Your compensation may be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications. For certain roles, total compensation may include restricted stock units. The compensation range for this position will depend on where you reside. For this role, the compensation range is:

$123,000$160,000 USD
