Job Description

About the role:

We’re looking for a Security Engineering Manager to ensure the effective delivery and support of Garner’s security program and its controls across our networks, systems, applications and data. This role reports to the VP of Information Security.

This position is fully remote.

What you will do:

  • The tactical delivery, execution, and operations of the security program and its controls
  • Maintaining required compliance accreditations
  • Retaining and developing the engineers on the security team
  • Establishing quality processes that aid and ease the adoption of security controls

What you will bring to the team:

  • 6+ years of hands on security engineering experience, including data and cloud security
  • 2+ years of hands on security/engineering management experience
  • Relevant industry accreditations, including (or similar to) CISSP
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate security engineering concepts to stakeholders
  • A willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and do whatever is necessary to ensure company success
  • Experience working in a rapidly evolving startup environment
  • A desire to be a part of our mission to improve the U.S. healthcare system
  • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Garner does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time

Compensation Transparency:

The target salary range for this position is: $220,000.00 - 250,000.00. Individual compensation for this role will depend on various factors, including qualifications, skills, and applicable laws. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and competitive benefits plans, including but not limited to: flexible PTO, Medical/Dental/Vision plan options, 401(k), Teladoc Health and more.
