Overview
About the Role
We are looking for a Strategic Finance Manager of Ads to focus on the Go-To-Market strategy of Instacart’s Ads business. This role will provide financial partnership for the commercial segments of Instacart’s ads business, owning critical parts of our revenue forecast and partnering cross-functionally with our ads sales and commercial excellence organizations to drive revenue outcomes.

About the Job
- Partner cross-functionally on forecast models that drive strategic decision making, quota setting, and sales performance for Instacart Ads
- Generate monthly and quarterly forecast reviews, board meeting and investor presentations, and other financial review presentations for leadership teams
- Serve as the direct business partner to the head of brand partnerships
- Conduct ad hoc financial modeling and analysis, such as analyzing performance of pricing and incentive programs
- Contribute to short and long range P&L planning, including seller efficiency performance
- Design and implement financial processes that use internal data and KPI’s to monitor and forecast financial performance of advertising business
About You
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, Math, Economics, Finance, Business or other related field
- 6-8 years work experience in a relevant field with demonstrated financial acumen and a track record of leveraging data for business impact
- Demonstrated experience thinking strategically about complex business problems, developing frameworks, and making decisions in areas involving judgment and ambiguity
- Highly proficient in advanced modeling in Google Sheets with strong attention to detail
- Highly proficient in communicating complex topics through decks in Google Slides
- Highly analytical and a clear, confident communicator
- A self-starter with a positive attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Work experience in consulting, investment banking, or Strategic Finance at a high-growth technology company preferred
- Work experience in advertising or SaaS preferred but not required
- Intermediate SQL knowledge is preferred
