Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support their marketing and ops efforts, with a focus on organizing and executing tasks related to tradeshows, email campaigns, and Salesforce management. In this role, you’ll work closely with external PR firms, contributing to the success of various marketing initiatives, while also gaining exposure to Operations if you have experience with Salesforce. Please note, this is not a creative role. This is a great opportunity for a candidate eager to take ownership and grow within the marketing ops space.
Location: Fully-Remote (Work from Home), 9 AM - 5 PM EST
Key Responsibilities
Tradeshow Coordination: Register members of the team for various tradeshows and conferences.
Salesforce Management: Format pre-attendee lists for easy upload to Salesforce and track post-show connections.
Email Campaigns: Set up email campaigns in Mailchimp for event attendees and connections, ensuring proper segmentation and follow-up.
Logistics Support: Assist team members with travel arrangements, including hotel bookings and transportation for trade shows.
PR Coordination: Send booth and tradeshow details to the PR firm and ensure alignment with marketing efforts.
Social Media Oversight: Review the social media calendar developed by the PR firm to ensure it aligns with ongoing marketing initiatives.
Email Sequences: Set up email sequences in Mailchimp using Salesforce reports and monitor their performance to improve engagement.
Results Communication: Follow up on campaigns, report on performance, and provide feedback to improve future efforts.
Secondary Responsibilities
Operations Support: Assist with Salesforce updates and reporting using tools like ZoomInfo to uncover new leads and track pipeline performance.
Qualifications
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in marketing support.
Social Media: Familiarity with social media content calendars and basic understanding of PR efforts.
Email Marketing: Experience with Mailchimp or similar email campaign tools.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-Oriented: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
Organized & Proactive: Highly organized and capable of taking initiative to support cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
Salesforce Proficiency: Familiarity with Salesforce, including report generation and dashboard setup, is highly preferred.
