Job Description

The Marketing Campaign Manager is the strategic architect of Rackspace's multi-channel marketing initiatives, driving content strategy and digital campaign execution to maximize pipeline generation and conversion. This role serves as the content strategist and digital marketing leader, orchestrating integrated campaigns across digital channels while developing compelling content that resonates with target audiences and drives measurable business results.

How you'll find success


Content strategy leadership: Lead content strategy development for your service area, creating compelling narratives and messaging frameworks that translate customer needs into high-impact content across all digital touchpoints and campaign assets.

Digital campaign orchestration: Design and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies across channels, optimizing content performance and user experience throughout the entire customer journey from awareness to conversion.

Data-driven content optimization: Leverage advanced analytics and performance data to continuously refine content strategy, messaging effectiveness, and digital campaign performance while understanding content engagement across the demand generation funnel.

Cross-functional content collaboration: Build strategic partnerships with product management, sales, field marketing, partnerships, digital teams, and creative services to ensure consistent brand storytelling and content alignment across all customer touchpoints.

Digital innovation and adaptability: Stay ahead of digital marketing trends and content formats, quickly adapting strategies and bringing stakeholders along when digital landscapes and content preferences evolve.

Hyperscaler content partnerships: Collaborate with cloud hyperscalers (Microsoft, AWS, and Google Cloud) to develop co-branded content strategies and joint digital marketing initiatives.


Work location: Remote in the U.S.A.

Candidates who reside within 40 miles of our San Antonio office will work in a hybrid location: work from home three days a week and in the office two days a week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content strategy & digital campaign execution:
  • Develop and refine comprehensive content strategy and digital marketing approach for assigned service areas, aligning storytelling with Rackspace's business objectives and market opportunities
  • Lead content planning and digital campaign coordination across all channels, ensuring brand consistency, message coherence, and strategic content alignment
  • Create full-funnel content experiences and digital campaigns for multiple audiences, specifically targeting regulated industries including public sector, higher education, healthcare, and financial services
  • Oversee content calendar development and digital asset creation to support integrated marketing initiatives

  • Content performance & digital analytics:
  • Manage content performance metrics and digital campaign analytics, ensuring content assets drive engagement, lead generation, and conversion effectiveness
  • Proactively monitor content engagement across digital channels and optimize messaging to improve funnel progression and conversion rates
  • Establish relationships with field marketers and sellers to optimize content utilization and digital asset effectiveness

  • Partner content collaboration:
  • Team with Microsoft, AWS, and/or Google Cloud to develop co-branded content strategies and joint digital marketing programs
  • Create collaborative content assets and digital experiences that leverage partner platforms and messaging

  • Vendor & budget management:
  • Develop and manage campaign budgets
  • Execute and manage contracts

  • Technical & operational support:
  • Use Salesforce, HubSpot, and other marketing tools to create campaign codes and manage CRM support
  • Partner with marketing operations to optimize dashboards, lead scoring, and technical enablement

  • Performance & reporting:
  • Establish key performance indicators for marketing campaigns and monitor progress
  • Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategy as needed, reporting results to senior stakeholders
  • Conduct market research to inform strategy and identify growth opportunities
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting; experience with data platforms (e.g.Google Analytics, PowerBI)

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a field related to marketing, business, or communications
  • Additional relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement at the manager's discretion
  • At least 8 years of marketing experience in a fast-paced B2B environment, preferably in the IT industry
  • A minimum of 5- 7 years of experience managing marketing campaigns in a B2B or enterprise environment
  • Proven track record developing and leading campaigns with year-over-year increases in results and ROI
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with public cloud hyperscalers (Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud)
  • Experience with budget management and marketing performance analysis


Physical Demands
  • General office environment: no special physical demands required.
  • May require long periods of sitting and viewing a computer monitor.


Travel
  • Minimal travel may be periodically required. Not to exceed 10%.



The following information is required by pay transparency legislation in the following states: CA, CO, HI, NY, and WA. This information applies only to individuals working in these states.


The anticipated starting pay range for Colorado is: $105,100 - $154,110

The anticipated starting pay range for the states of Hawaii and New York (not including NYC) is: $111,800 - $164,010

The anticipated starting pay range for California, New York City, and Washington is: $122,500 - $179,630


Unless already included in the posted pay range and based on eligibility, the role may include variable compensation in the form of a bonus, commissions, or other discretionary payments. These discretionary payments are based on company and/or individual performance and may change at any time. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location.
