Why This Role is Exciting
AuditBoard is seeking a Marketing & Events Specialist who will support the team in executing events and marketing program logistics through every stage. The ideal candidate is a team player who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. We’re seeking someone exceptionally hard-working, organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure. This person will help with venue research and selection, vendor management, assist with budget management, and ensure accuracy and consistency of reporting.
Travel Expectations: 15-20%. Some weekends may be required.
Location: Although primarily a remote-based role, we are preferably seeking candidates located near headquarters in Cerritos, CA. Travel and some work on weekends or after hours may be required.
Key Responsibilities
As the Marketing & Events Specialist, you will organize, manage, and ship marketing supplies and client packages while also managing the inventory of branded items used for events. In this role, you will manage and maintain event webpages, create marketing emails, monitor event timelines, and ensure deadlines and deliverables are met. This person will also be responsible for supporting the events marketing strategy and enhancing the AuditBoard brand through internal and external initiatives.
Attributes for a Successful Candidate
BS/BA in Marketing or a related field
2–3 years of experience in marketing, events, or a related field
Self-starter and quick learner; demonstrated independence and autonomy in a high-performing work environment
Strong project management skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong work ethic and sharp logistics management skills
Experience in event planning, hospitality, marketing, or PR is preferred
Experience in working with Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, and Google Drive
Travel and some work on weekends or after hours may be required
Nice to Have
Experience in marketing for B2B SaaS companies, driving growth and engagement
