Job Description:

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Marketing Manager - Webinars & Virtual Events to lead and evolve our client's webinar program. This fully remote contractor role sits within the client's Campaign Management team and will serve as the primary driver of operational excellence, platform expertise, and program effectiveness for webinars. In addition, this individual will contribute to improving broader campaign processes and enablement. You will play a pivotal role in promoting the client’s thought leadership by delivering educational and engaging virtual experiences that align with marketing, sales, and customer engagement goals.

Responsibilities:

Webinar Program Leadership

  • Own end-to-end planning, oversight, and measurement of webinars across platforms like ON24 and Zoom Webinars.
  • Establish and enforce best practices and standards for webinar strategy, execution, content, and presentation.
  • Develop and maintain a dynamic webinar calendar in partnership with the client's Revenue Marketing Managers to ensure topic variety, audience engagement, and alignment with broader campaign goals.
  • Serve as administrator for webinar platforms—managing licenses, troubleshooting issues, and providing training.
  • Monitor webinar performance and analyze data to identify improvements in content, format, or delivery.

Campaign & Process Enablement

  • Collaborate with the client's Campaign Managers to embed webinars into integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Develop and document scalable processes, templates, and how-to guides to streamline webinar execution across teams.
  • Support the client's Campaign Management team in optimizing workflows using tools like Workfront and Marketo.
  • Act as the go-to resource for client's internal teams regarding webinar planning, tools, and platform expertise.

Speaker & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Partner with the client's Revenue Marketing Managers, Product Marketing Managers, speakers, and SMEs to define webinar objectives, content, and messaging.
  • Lead pre-webinar activities including kickoff calls, slide reviews, and tech checks.
  • Host webinars, manage live delivery, moderate audience engagement (polls, Q&A), and ensure a professional attendee experience.

Post-Event Reporting & Optimization

  • Distribute post-event metrics and insights to stakeholders.
  • Maintain webinar documentation, OneDrive folders, and internal communication channels (e.g., Slack).
  • Monitor CPE eligibility and compliance requirements, managing CPE-approved webinars accordingly.

Tools & Platforms

  • Webinar Platforms: ON24, Zoom Webinars
  • Project Management: Workfront
  • Marketing Automation: Marketo
  • Collaboration & Storage: Slack, OneDrive

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience managing B2B webinars or virtual events, preferably in a marketing or demand generation environment.
  • Strong understanding of webinar platforms (ON24 and Zoom Webinars) and marketing tools (Marketo, Workfront).
  • Ability to drive strategy while managing tactical execution.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with educational content delivery and CPE requirements is a plus.

Safe Remote Job Search Tips

Verify Employer Thoroughly

Research the company's identity thoroughly before applying. Check for a professional website with contacts, active social media, and LinkedIn profiles. Verify details across platforms and look for reviews on Glassdoor or Trustpilot to confirm legitimacy.

Never Pay to Get a Job

Legitimate employers never require payment for applications, training, background checks, or equipment. Always reject upfront payment requests or demands for bank details, even if they claim it's for purchasing necessary work gear on your behalf.

Safeguard Your Personal Information

Protect sensitive data like SSN, bank details, or ID copies. Share this only after accepting a formal, written job offer. Ensure it's submitted via a secure company system or portal, never through insecure channels like standard email attachments.

Scrutinize Communication & Interviews

Watch for communication red flags: poor grammar, generic emails (@gmail), vague details, or undue pressure. Be highly suspicious of interviews held only via text or chat apps; legitimate companies typically use video or phone calls.

Beware of Unrealistic Offers

If an offer's salary or benefits seem unrealistically high for the work involved, be cautious. Research standard pay for similar roles. Offers that appear 'too good to be true' are often scams designed to lure you into providing information or payment.

Insist on a Formal Contract

Always secure and review a formal, written job offer or employment contract before starting work or sharing final personal details. Ensure it clearly defines your role, compensation, key terms, and conditions to avoid misunderstandings or scams.
