Role Overview
The client is seeking an experienced Outbound SDR to drive their outbound sales efforts, generate qualified leads, and schedule meetings with key decision-makers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in cold calling, lead qualification, and engaging prospects to move them through the sales funnel. Key Responsibilities
Outbound Sales Calls: Make high-volume outbound calls to e-commerce businesses, introduce the company’s shipping solutions, and qualify leads.
Lead Generation: Research and identify prospective clients in the e-commerce space, tailoring outreach to their specific logistics needs.
Qualification & Nurturing: Qualify leads based on their shipping requirements, budget, and decision-making authority.
Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings for Account Executives and Sales Managers to further develop relationships and close deals.
CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads and interactions in the CRM system.
Collaboration: Work with sales and marketing teams to align outbound strategies with broader business goals.
Sales Reporting: Provide regular updates on lead progress, appointment setting, and sales metrics to leadership.
Requirements
Experience: 2+ years of experience in outbound sales or sales development, preferably in the logistics or e-commerce industries.
Cold Calling: Proven success in conducting high-volume cold outreach and generating qualified leads.
CRM Tools: Proficiency in CRM systems like Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar tools.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
