Part Time Recruiter
Job Description
Optery is a fast-growing startup tackling one of today’s most pressing issues:data privacy. We’re looking for ahighly organized, detail-oriented part-time recruiter to help us scale our team with top-tier talent. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers across multiple departments — including Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and more — to help identify, engage, and guide exceptional candidates through our hiring funnel.
This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment and wants to make meaningful contributions without needing full-time hours.
🧠 What You’ll Do:
Manage theend-to-end recruiting process for a variety of roles, especially technical and product roles.
Source candidates via LinkedIn and other platforms to build a strong top-of-funnel pipeline.
Screen resumes and conduct phone screens to assess fit, experience, and communication.
Coordinate and schedule interviews across time zones using anATS
Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, candidate profiles, and hiring goals.
Maintain clear candidate records and pipeline tracking inExcel/Google Sheets and our ATS.
Help optimize recruiting workflows and candidate experience.
Communicate with clarity and professionalism to both candidates and internal stakeholders.
Provide ad hoc support for recruiting operations by assisting with various hiring tasks as needed.
✅ What We’re Looking For:
3+ years of recruiting experience, ideally including experience hiring fortechnical and product roles.
Comfortable working independently in aremote, part-time setting.
Proficient inATS systems (e.g., Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever, Breezy).
Strong experience usingLinkedIn Recruiter or other platforms for proactive sourcing.
Excellentresume screening and candidate vetting skills.
Strongcommunication and interpersonal skills — clear, thoughtful, and professional.
Comfortable working inGoogle Sheets, Excel, and G Suite tools.
Available to work duringU.S. business hours across time zones.
