Principal Product Manager, Collaboration Tools

We’re searching for an accomplished Principal Product Manager to help lead the Collaboration team's strategy, roadmap, and execution. You will partner closely with design and engineering to define and deliver end-to-end scalable experiences that empower users to effectively collaborate with their team and elevate their videos to new heights. You will meticulously analyze the relationship between the sharer and recipient, fostering users confidence to bring in the right people at the right time. Mainly, your scope will encompass access management, content privacy, request access flows, and granular permissions. You will also be responsible for understanding and contributing to the broader system design, navigating intricate dependencies with Library and Accounts & Authorization to ensure seamless collaboration and scalability.

What you’ll do:

• Develop a compelling product vision that is built on top of a deep, data-driven understanding of the customer.
• Deliver platform solutions that enable small and large-scale organizations to efficiently manage access to video content across their entire ecosystem.
• Roll up your sleeves, dig into the details, create requirements, and drive a steady cadence of improvements.
• Set a high bar for success, never accept the status quo, look for every opportunity you can find to innovate and elevate.
• Aim high, challenge norms, seek innovation.
• Manage the execution of initiatives from zero through launch - engaging all the right teams at Vimeo along the way.
• Define metrics for success and failure, analyze and create dashboards for key metrics.
• Work cross-functionally throughout the organization, partnering with engineering, design, product marketing, data science, customer service and more.
• Obsess over viral loops that help drive team expansion as part of our PLG strategy.

Skills and knowledge you should possess:

• 8+ years of experience in product management with a proven track record of successfully launching product solutions.
• Interest in video and the digital media industry, with a deep understanding of the evolving trends and technologies shaping the future.
• Strong understanding of the collaboration landscape and the core principles of access management to meet the needs of teams both big and small.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven self-starter with a bias for action, who can both execute and strategize, and who is comfortable with ambiguity.
• Accustomed to generating results over process in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

Base Salary Range:

• NYC Metro, Bay Area, Seattle, & Los Angeles: $167,000 - $228,500
• All other US cities outside above metro areas: $150,300 - $205,650
