Product and BI Analyst

Job Summary

The role involves leading company-wide analytics to support a data-driven culture by defining processes, tracking KPIs, and creating intuitive dashboards and reports for various stakeholders. 👬Softermii is currently looking for a Product and BI Analyst due to team expansion, with the ability to work 1-2 days a week in the evening or afternoon to match US time zones (end of the day at approximately 22:00 Kyiv time zone).

Project: An innovative company that leverages state-of-the-art technology to support elderly care. By combining predictive algorithms, AI, and IoT home devices, the ecosystem provides an interactive solution for caregivers to better understand and meet the needs of each individual.

👯Your responsibilities on the project will be:

  • Own the BI domain: Lead company-wide analytics, define processes, and champion a data-driven culture.
  • Enable data-driven teams: Partner with Product, Operations, Customer Success, Marketing, and Sales to track KPIs, analyze performance, and uncover improvement opportunities.
  • Turn data into impact: Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities that shape product and business decisions.
  • Define KPIs and data needs: Collaborate with Product and R&D to define success metrics, guide event implementation, and ensure relevant data sources and flows are in place.
  • Design accessible reporting interfaces: Build intuitive dashboards and reports that provide easy access to key metrics and clearly surface insights for each stakeholder.
  • Recommend the right tools: Evaluate and guide the selection of data tools that support evolving business needs.

Softermii's team: 3 Full-stack engineers and a remote team in Israel.

Client team:

App team: 1 Team Lead, 2 Developers, 1 Manual QA, 1 Automation QA

Data team: 1 Team Lead, 5 Developers

DevOps team: 3 DevOps Engineers

Product team: 1 Head of Product, 2 Product Managers, 1 Designer, 1 Medical Consultant

Marketing team: Product Owners, Chief Product Officer (CPO), VP of R&D

🕹Tools we use: Jira, Confluence, Git, Figma

🗞Our requirements to you:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as a BI Analyst, Data Analyst, or Product Analyst, preferably within a SaaS environment.
  • Proven track record working closely with Product, R&D, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to define, monitor, and analyze KPIs.
  • Advanced SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries for data extraction and reporting.
  • Expertise in BI tools, such as:

- Tableau

- Looker

- Mixpanel

- Power BI

  • Ability to create clear, actionable dashboards and reports tailored to various business stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, including the ability to effectively communicate insights with executives, developers, and product managers.

💥It would be cool if you have experience:

  • Experience with Python for data analysis or automation tasks.
