About the Role:
As a Data Analyst for the Connected Devices team, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing the data generated by our IoT, telematics, and embedded devices. You will work closely with engineering and product teams to uncover valuable insights, identify trends, and proactively address any anomalies or issues with the data. This role requires a strong background in data analysis, SQL, Python, and a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and aggregate data from various sources, including Snowflake and other data platforms.
- Utilize Python and data analysis tools to perform advanced data analysis, including forecasting, anomaly detection, and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to automate data pipelines, reporting, and alerting to ensure timely and actionable insights.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for product and engineering teams.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and monitoring to continuously improve our capabilities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, with a strong background in SQL and Python
- Proficient in data visualization and dashboarding tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Looker)
- Proficient experience using Datadog
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to uncover insights from complex data
- Experience working with large, high-velocity data sets and developing scalable data pipelines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively translate technical findings into business-oriented recommendations
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog) is a plus

Pay Transparency
Your compensation may be based on several factors, including education, work experience, and certifications. For certain roles, total compensation may include restricted stock units.
