This position is needed to lead the product strategy and execution for Profile Data Management and APIs, ensuring accurate, reliable, and scalable access to customer profile data across our platform..
As a Platform Product Manager on the Unified Profiles team, you will focus on how profile data is accessed, managed, and trusted in real time. You’ll work across engineering, design, and customer-facing teams to ensure our platform meets the needs of developers, data teams, and application builders. We’re looking for someone who is deeply customer-obsessed, technically curious, and passionate about building durable, extensible systems that operate at massive scale—powering billions of customer profiles, that amazing personalized experiences.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
- Define and execute product requirements for real-time profile data access and management across billions of customer records.
- Collaborate cross functionally with GTM, support, engineering and design teams to deliver products that empower real-time personalization and engagement at scale.
- Engage directly with customers, developers, and partners to deeply understand their needs and translate them into clear actionable roadmap priorities and product improvements.
- Evaluate product health through data, define success metrics, and continuously iterate based on customer feedback and performance.
- Drive clarity across teams through detailed product specifications, competitive intelligence, roadmaps, and launch readiness materials.

*Required:
- 3+ years of experience in product management, preferably working on platform products, data infrastructure, or APIs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver features from ideation to launch.
- Solid understanding of technical concepts such as data models, APIs, event-based systems, or architectural components.
- Experience defining product requirements, prioritizing roadmaps, and making customer-backed tradeoff decisions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Track record of using data to make informed product decisions and continuously improve user outcomes.
Desired:
- Experience with a Customer Data Platform (CDP), Customer Engagement Platform (CEP) or Marketing Automation Platform in a B2B SaaS or platform context
- Understanding of omnichannel communication use cases (e.g., SMS, email, push, voice) and how real time customer profiles power personalization and engagement
Location
This role will be remote, but is not eligible to be hired in CA, CT, NJ, NY, PA, WA.
Travel
We prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. For this role, approximately 10% travel is anticipated to help you connect in-person in a meaningful way.

Compensation
*Please note this role is open to candidates outside of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Washington D.C., and Washington State. The information below is provided for candidates hired in those locations only.
The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:
- Based in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont or Washington D.C. : 126,000 - 157,500.
- Based in New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $133,400 - $166,700.
- Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $148,200 - $185,200.
- This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are generally eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
